There is not much more that can be said that hasn't already been mentioned, so all I have to say is thanks for doing all that you did Megs, Anni, Zer0 and Nuke. Thanks for all the well wishes everyone!

Thank you all for your hard work and you will be missed as leaders, and I wish you all the best and hope to see you on the servers or even play in any other game with you in the future

I think, the one person who means the most here. is the people who have been named, and have not said a thing.
Megs a Tagger, and Annihilator.
i think, we have given them a raw deal.... else they would have said something earlier.
you both have something to say. i think there are mixed feelings involved.
i think, it would mean the world to everyone who stuck by you... to receive a thoughtful message.
even if you are done with us. we may have gotten someones closing of thoughts.

Hey Warren, just to sort of sooth your thoughts here...
The leadership change was not unexpected. It was something that Megs and Anni discussed with most of us and made it fairly public, so it was not much of a shock. I think some people may have missed it or been caught off guard because it was mostly talked about in Teamspeak.
I do not think it was any hard feelings or anything, they have just been doing this for a very long time and retirement had come. They have been in those positions for a very, very long time so it's understandable, especially with very few of us actually playing Day of Defeat anymore. Life definitely has changed a bit for all
They are alive and well though
They drop by Teamspeak from time to time. I don't think they log into the forums much anymore is all. I hope that soothes your thoughts that there may be some deeper issues, but I truly believe this is not, just a change in the times

LOL, I have posted twice in this thread.....I am still here and around, and by no means, left with a bad taste in my mouth. I have spent the last 8 years being part of this community on an almost daily basis, I am simply taking some time away, but still try to get on and talk with people on Teamspeak, I just got back from a weekend away up North. I won't speak for Megs except I know that she is just taking some time away as well, but neither of us left with a bad taste in our mouths from our members. We love our division and the people that are part of it!

It's always something when leadership steps down... especially when it comes to members who are as iconic as Megs & Anni :mellow:
By the time I came back to gaming, DoD:s just wasn't the same... the servers, the people... many things had changed and moved on, it is an old game afterall. That said, I'm glad and happy to have run into the people in this clan and division when I did

The whole DoD leadership team (minus a mortal enemy or two) has been top-notch as long as the division has been around.
The team stepping down did a great job keeping DoD afloat and better yet, kept a big circle of friends together. Great work guys (and Meg) for keeping the division close to its roots and maintaining the closest-knit and consistent community within a clan I've ever seen.
It's awesome to still see so many people who give their all to eGO and this division. It's even cooler to see DoD veterans taking on more responsibility and now having the possibility to advance in internet rank as well.
