Ok, this is my first video for TF2. It is a compilation of videos featuring my every day sniping, and was filmed over the course of about two days, due to losing all previous demos to updates. It is rendered in 720p HD, so the quality is very nice. You can view it streaming and/or download it via the site. Hope you guys enjoy it, as it is my gift to you guys.

BTW this video was not taken on a 4 letter word computer and has never been touched by one, so it is therefore automatically pure of all technological evil.

The issues with being able to load the video are now over. The site was simply at peak times and couldn't handle the load of all of the videos being uploaded so Thatguy's video (among others) were put on wait.

Anyways, nice vid., kiddo!
 
Wow... I knew you were a great sniper, but that was incredible... (surprised I didn't see my name amongst the many kills, hehe)
 
first id like to say everytime i join a server im going to look over at my little "Tab" button over there to the left on my keyboard then im going to push that "Tab" button and what ever team your on im joining cuz i Refuse to be your little sniping pin cushion and then you say "if it won't let him join because of balance in teams what will he do?" thats when i look over on my keyboard well its on the same side too then i look up about and inch then i hit that there "Esc" Button then click disconnect and find me another ego server...

I was very relieved to not see my name on the kill list; however, I was very satisfied to see Jehuty's name many, many times.
 
I hate good snipers..makes it a pain in the bottom to get across the bridge successfully. ~: Unless said good sniper is on my team...then i'll be singing praises out :P

Awesome encoding job. It started playing from the site instantly and looked great. There are some amazing shots there. You really make me want to play sniper more. I hope to see more vids in the future.
 
When I play sniper, it feels extremely random. I can be standing still, shooting at an enemy standing still, pointing directly at his head, and miss 3 shots in a row.

I always assumed the game is just jacked up, like lag or something, especially when I spec people getting HS while shooting nowhere near the heads or even near the victim.

But I see that even in your vid (that is, no spec/lag issues) you are able to kill tons of opponents without pointing at them--shooting behind them, above them, to the side, etc.

I definitely am not saying this in any hostile way. I actually am wondering if there is a trick to knowing where on the screen to shoot to get that kill (clearly a good percentage of the time the player's model is NOT the right place to aim). It seems from your vid that it's not consistently in any one place (like some games you can consistently aim right in front of their direction of travel, or right in back) that you can aim to get HS.

Any advice for aspiring ThatGuys?
 
Dude, now I know all your secrets. We have a different approach on the sniping buiseness, and I hope mine is better on an 1vs1 match. Next time I join a server you're in, you better hope I'm not picking the opposite team. ^_^

You are plain awesome. All those snipers you sniped with no sweat, it's just amazing! I will download that video and study it day and night until I find the best strategy to get to you ^_^
 
Hah, yea, i was watching the names to make sure that video wasnt in a game i was in... Usually when you on i switch to your team or switch servers...
