Great video. You got some skills...once I get pyro down maybe I'll try to get some sniping time to help boost your rank some more...lol.
Is there any particular sniper or other player that gives you an especially hard time? Just curious......

I have a Razor Death Adder at 1800DPI and 1000hz polling rate. My sensitivity is at like 1.7 I think. If I set it any higher, I wouldn't be able to make long ranged shots and my close ranged ones would be even more twitchy

I'll be the first to tell you, being a fellow sniper and i see him all the time on Warpath.... nothing gives him trouble. He takes the same approach as I try to. Good snipers don't pay much attention to other snipers. A good sniper helps his team by taking out the people attaching his team. A true sniper has no enemy except spies. I can say I've dominated Thatguy once (it was the greatest day ever, i don't care if he probably didn't aim at me once).... but my greatest time playing TF2 is with him. 2 good snipers will change any battle, I don't care what anyone says. If Thatguy and someone else are running the show, call it a game
ps... watch the point values of who he gets kills on. That tells you just how great of a sniper he is. He has such a high point value and ranking playing nothing but sniper. 2 points for most headshots doesn't generate a lot of points. I'll give you 5 rounds of applause for that performance
Yea ill agree that 2 pts per kill makes it pretty hard to rank up when u got all these high rank guys just yielding points solely from building stuff with engy (farming points)

Now, now, Iadien. Snipers deserve all the points that other classes do, just in different, useless currency.
I.E. Soldiers get 2 points for killing someone, Snipers get 2 frosted flakes for killing someone. Oh, and spies should get two "Smokin'!" pictures of Jim Carey for each kill that isn't a backstab, and three for each backstab.

Thank you for the reply about the mouse and sensitivity thatguy, I dropped it down to 2.0/2.1 and made it made one heck of an improvement. (was able to really pick off a ton of medics in 2fort with it on, and able to actually counter-snipe, something i previously stunk at) I dunno about 1.7, but there i can see how you did those shots in the video with it.
Nah, I used Source Recorder. It was a nifty tool I found in an old post by NightHawk. I used an XviD MPEG-4 codec and recorded in 720p HD. All you have to do is start the movie and then play the demo with your screen resolution set to 1280x720 (This is the format for 720p. You game will look weird if you aren't using widescreen, but it will record like normal.). It has much better quality than fraps and the files are a lot smaller I found. Uncompressed AVI's were about 1/3 the size of those recorded on fraps, and it is less strain on the processor. I used the same codec to render the movie as well. I like the quality on it

You shouldn't worry so much about sensitivity. Getting better just takes practice.
