I have asked leadership about potentially making one of our other wonderful servers to a ff off server and maybe adding a !restock ability also. I was wondering if Enough would be interested that I continue to ask? 
Just throwing this out there to see if I should pursue discussion on.....

I mean, I might play a little bit! I'm not sure (based on recent times) that we would see many people playing or supporting it since there are not many members remaining who want to play DoD or support the servers at this point. That's my only concern. I'm up to play a little if it does happen, but it isn't something I would regularly play a ton
I think realistically the few hundred people worldwide who still play this game are pretty set with where they play. I am not against trying to get a second server going (after avalanche) but this game is old, and there just arn't people to come fill a server anymore. When people come on to play DOD:S, they want to go play, not spend 2 hours trying to fill a server.
Steam was offering DOD:S for $.99 during Christmas. I've been pretty active the last two months, and I think there has a spike in server activity since the sale. One of the problems is a lot of kids are home from school and the spike could also be attributed to that. Hard to tell.
But... I would play it. Can't remember the last time I played with FF Off. Could be fun.

FF could mean a lot of work for the admins with very little gain, I would say "no thank you".

well that will be the thing we would play it stricter for that reason, we could treat it a bit different as it is a project in the making reinventing the wheel if you will. I don't know, I find a good game of ff off pretty fun and makes you feel like you are more in the situation atleast simulation wise.
FF is a very bad idea. It ruins the gameplay. For a map like avalanche filled with nades you will constantly be killed by teammates and their nades. Then you will have to deal with intentional TK'ers on the other team. FF is meant for players who are more aware of who they are shooting at.
And the server so far has been extremely active. For days now it has been full. Why risk all of that to try something out when the server is running just fine as it is?

I meant this to be for Donner or Kalt as a means to help pick them back up as more players with skill may find it suits them, I know I like playing some servers with ff off and felt this would be something to try at least
About 5 years ago eGO had an Anzio server. It had FF on. I was a non-ego player who would regularly fill the server. We would hit 32 full server at about 5 PM EST and it would last for about 4 hours until players left again.
Like I said though, we would fill the server, then it would die, whereas many other servers stayed full all the time, or near all the time.

Members playing has picked up in the past 3 weeks alone. Seeing all kinds of old members joining, and even members from other games like CS:GO and the likes. Could be due to the holiday break and more having time off from work/school. I would say DoD is still a very active game.. most times during the day and evening when I join it's usually 32/32 or close to it. However as Simon said, we used to have very active members that would kick start Kalt or Donner, this has since dwindled down to very few online and on TS.

So what do we do just let the other two keep slipping? Does anyone else have a solution, I meean I try out other servers I see the success they have with ffon how do they have numbers like our ava server does. Well it would be good to have the option at least because I have seen some popular serversnot as popular as our ava but they keep numbers and it like I said would provide another option with an already seriously slow server
What you can do is increase the points for kalt/donner.
I know back when ego had the Anzio server a lot of players who cared about points would play on that server only to move up in their ranking.
