Hey,

So was there a new update?

Only playing on the eGO TTT and Jail servers, I'm running 60 fps, where I used to run 250-300. I checked playing on other servers, ( the same TTT map) and I got 220 there, v 70 here.

Any thoughts?

(Update) Polarz and Tiemy are also seeing this. (update) Everyone is!

Thanks, WaSe

Not seeing any major game updates in the past few days that would effect this. Is it specific to that map, or the server? Or all servers

this is happeing with me too. I found that it is the steam webhelper that is taking up 99% of your cpu and thats why your losing frames. It started doing it today and it happens everytime i open cs. not any other game. Try deleting it on your task manager it should work. what sucks is that you have to do it everytime you open cs.

I've noticed it on both T restarting stuff andTT and Jail, on every map that i played. I tried still nothing. I tried going on to non-eGO servers and it was sorta still happening, for instance one that I went to people were experiencing it and said it might've been because of the tick rate but i'm not sure if that's the case for eGO servers or not.

That's pretty extreme. Maybe try giving Steam a re-install if that keeps being an issue - you sort of need steamwebhelper for a LOT of stuff. For both of these, give verifying the steam game cache a shot for CS:GO. Sometimes solves a lot of issues with Valve games.

I have been seeing the same issue on my end. Although my solution was to close the 35 Google Chrome tabs that I have open.

You should hit up that new liquid cooling solution.

Might have to wash your motherboard too. Its a good idea to get the gunk off that might be blocking your frames (Dawn has been proven the most effective soap for motherboard cleaning).

Note: Do not actually try these or the only frames you will be looking at would be the picture frames on your wall.
By that I mean your computer will be dead NotLikeThis

Yeah I’ve had this issue too it’s pretty frustrating I’ve just stopped playing for now xD

Please check if this has changed. I think we found the problem.
