hlxstats...hidden?

I notice some people have a rank of "hidden" in some sigs. I was wondering how you do this, because I just realized all i'm trying to do is farm points, and I just want to have some spy fun.The only thing that keeps me farming points is when it says it everytime i kill somebody.

i tried /hlx_hideranking but I got the message "unknown command"

ohhh that might be why it didn't work. I will try that and see if that's the problem.

I think the people with "Hidden" in their HLStatsX have Activity levels that have dropped to 0% (i.e. they haven't been playing).

Edit: Actually maybe not...I see a "-" dash for a ranking, next to those people who haven't been playing.

anyone know a way to SHUT off the points mesages ingame? I thought I had it shut off, but apparently not, and just dont care to see the message of how many points I got when I killed someone. I decided when I broke the 11k mark and then noticed I was more worried about how many points I got per kill, and then how many I lost in a death, that it was time to re-evaluate this for myself. I decided I dont want to see that message ingame and would like to shut it off if possible.

This is a game, and while I dont mind the points system and the rankings, I dont think we need it blaring at us everytime we get a kill ingame.

/hlx_hideranking does work. Look at my sig, and when i check my rank on hlstats it isn't even there anymore. You must type it in regular chat for it to work, and it will take away all of the kill messages too. I can finally enjoy the game instead of trying to break into the top 10.

I would like to know how to display them, it's interesting to see who the skilled players are and mine have become hidden.

I'm pretty sure that's serverside. I'll go check the Hlstatx instructions, and see if I can come up with something.
