I'll state my opinion one last time. The ONLY thing PUBG and Fortnite have in common is that they're Battle Royale games. The way they approached the genre is completely different.
It's a far stretch, but I still say it's like comparing CSGO and Call of Duty. Both are Team Based Objective FPS games. However, the way the companies approached the genre was in different ways.
PUBG and Fortnite are same genre, different games. There is no better or worse. There's only preference. Therefore, the argument is pointless.

They are both battle royale games that will just get boring after 3 months. I like pubg better because it's close to realistic.
Fortnite is just a stretch of believing, that I, and a lot of other people don't like taking. It's a shoot, run, jump game.
End of the day though, they are both just battle royale games, the type of game that should be saved for CS event.

Since there are similarities and they are run similar as in no dedicated server but one has the ability to have custom games at the moment and they other doesn't. If they do have that feature added to Fortnite, I can see us supporting both.

Not only is Fortnite fun to play, but it's fun to watch. The eSports scene is only going to make this more popular on Twitch. And?. it hasn?t even released in China yet.

There are other ways to support games that do not have a dedicated server. You could be tapping into the stats API and make those stats available to the public, much like hlstats but with eGO branding. Or just have a eGO member leaderboards would be cool, seeing how we match up against each other.
My opinion is that PUBG is fun to play but boring to watch. Fortnite will continue to dominate Twitch as eSports and China take it on.

I played just about 1000 hours on PUBG, so I?m tryig to play some other games so I don?t wear myself down on it at the moment. And I?ve been really really enjoying fortnite. It?s a lot faster paced action, smoother, and just fun. But when it comes to comparing I love both games equally but they have their differences. It?s nice to have a break from playing the same thing over and over again.

Apples to oranges. The only thing they got in common is BR. I hate third person, and dont like the building aspect of fortnite. But i also really do not like the lack of fixes and developer communication PUBG has. PUBG is fun for me while Fortnite isnt, but that doesnt mean fortnite is shit. Honestly its a damn good game with a really awesome developer presence. Theres a reason why its so huge right now.
