I'm trying to not just complain, but more so state an observation. this is the third time in a week i have watched admins be blatantly rude to players.
I see a random player in Goldrush with no tag, he adds his tag in game to have =eGO= minus the TM, then proceed to do nothing but sit AFK. the =eG= in the room was doing the work on keeping riff raff in line, this mismarked =eGO= is afk with a wrong name, not even registering on the scoreboard. naturally, i ask if hes actually an admin, maybe not the politest thing to do, plus i had forgotten admin chat.
his response is simply, "you wanna bet?" that is never how an admin should be talking to players, and certainly not in the public chat.
the next thing i know, my screen is blank, my pc refuses to budge, and i restart. he apparently kicked me, but i got more than that on my end. i had been playing for about 30minutes or so, i'm now done for the day, i dont have the time to deal with that.
it was the admins negligence to set a good example that had me suspicious in the first place. surely im not alone is thinking an admin not wearing his tag, then giving himself an incomplete tag in game, and sitting in the spawn AFK for long periods of time is a little more than suspicious.
i think we need another training course for admins here. one that teaches them to respect the players that keep this community alive and how to set a good example in front of them.
