So currently the rules for Simon Says states, "Simon Says commands must not move prisoners in any direction (forward/backward/left/right)." which implies you can't say thing like '(Simon says) go to the marker.' etc.

I think this rule should be removed or changed as it limits Simon Says to just two movements, jump, and crouch which is annoying because it makes Simon Says go a little bit like this,

Simon says jump
Simon says jump
Simon says jump
Simon says crouch
Simon says jump
Simon says crouch
JUMP
Simon says jump
and so on...

But if this rule was modified then the game has potential to be more fun and more commonly played, being added to the small list of games that can be played between two markers for example, FRLR.

When you combine prisoners/CT's having the ability to talk during Simon Says with movement commands, this would only result in more freekills, complaining ...etc.

Perhaps we need to add a way to start/end simon says with the warden menu, which should also mute everyone except the warden during the game (+ cmd for admins to stop the game + game would end if warden dies + maximum duration for the game to avoid it being played for the whole round + limit for how many times it can be played). With something like this, we could also potentially lift the number of prisoners requirement.

D Duckers Universe was there any other reason for why we had this rule? I can't remember what other ways cancer wardens were abusing it.

This will create confusion and freekills especially when there are no admins online.

Example when admins not online : Warden Starts the game of Simon says. Someone(Not the warden) says over mic "Simon says red marker" and everyone starts running here and there to search the marker and will get freeshot to death causing Server Disruption. The better version is to keep some limits to the game. No movement commands will not arise any confusion.

I don't believe that this will be necessary. The main reason for all of this would be to mute CT's during the game and eliminating any side effects to that. But I don't see how this is any different than other games. See below.

As I said above, I don't see how that's different than other map games. Again, for example, FRLR, a random CT can say 'Last reaction jump' and anybody who jumps dies because he's not the warden. Obviously, this is impersonating warden but would be no different with Simon Says. If there's no admin online nothing can be done. And from what I experience it doesn't even happen that often, the only instances I can recall remotely similar is when a random CT types a trivia question in chat before the warden types he just to throw off a few prisoners.

Like I said above, how would it be different from any other game that has the potential of being disrupted. Any free kills should be met with swaps similar to any other game that can be played between two markers. Warden can also still use the peace command if necessary.

It's different since the nature of Simon Says is to trick players, which requires prisoners to focus alot more otherwise you are instantly killed without any chances - whereas with other normal commands/games, you can ask for a repeat and the warden/CT's are more lenient. With FR/LR, there is no trickery involved and you're in a single spot (not moving around), it's just either react or don't react. I don't think it would be a bad idea to have FR/LR in the warden menu like I mentioned above for Simon Says as it would help reduce freekills and everyone yelling at each other to be quiet at a critical time. There are times when nobody except the warden should talk, FR/LR and Simon Says are good examples of those times.

I think a lot of server disruption can become present with this addition unless it's altered a bit like how Abdul was saying. I like the idea of FR/LR being in the warden menu.

You can also get them to look in a specific direction (North, south. Etc)

It'll complicate stuff and makes it easier for freekill to happen

We just wanted it to be somewhat similar to how first reaction and last reaction was played so it wasn't too confusing for people. We also put it in because we didn't want the "resonable time to follow orders" thing to be abused in simon says.

If we could get a command that mutes all except CTs when doing simon says then that would be great. It would make it a lot easier to give more complex commands.

I say mute everyone not just the T's, sometimes the Ct's decide that their useless garbage that needs to be said during a game is ness.

edit: also having movement commands in simon says would be difficult, if they are bunched up how do u know who broke the rules of the game or they could run back in stack if they mess up and u cant kill them. thats if they are given a location command.

So it has been a little while since this was discussed, but I am going to go ahead and say we won't add this. There are too many things that could occur that would disrupt gameplay. I get that you want more variety, but this would end up causing more problems than not.

Thanks for the suggestion though!
