There is currently a rule in place that "prohibits" the warden from passing at the start of the round. If said warden passes, he/she risks being swapped (it varies between admin to admin).
I was hoping this rule can be reviewed because:
1) Some wardens who get the role consecutive times are sometimes nice enough to pass for someone else who is asking for it.
2) !pass is there to be used and a warden is basically getting punished for using a command.
Now, I understand why some people get swapped if they pass out of the blue and ruin the round. I'm suggesting that the warden DOES NOT get swapped if they pass at the very beginning of the round, while there's at least one player who is ready to take over warden.
I don't know that a rule change is necessary for this but rather admins using their discretion if other players are clearly going to take warden and it DOES NOT disrupt the server (i.e. at the very beginning of the round, before cells are even opened).
Thanks!
