Question on impersonating admins?

Someone got perma banned and I think it was completely unreasonable. So i was wondering if you can get banned for having your name as for example. =(eMo)= Wax (NOT AN ADMIN). Is that allowed??

When an admin tells you do something, you do that.

You do not argue, you do not put NOT ADMIN in your name, you do what the admin says. We're trying to play our server word for word, soul for soul. If it is a disruption and the admin feel that way, it will be put to a stop.

If the tags are extremely close to eGO tags and could be easily confused, we would generally tend to ask someone to remove it or change it. Putting NOT AN ADMIN means it's too close - therefore, it shouldn't be there. The particular instance you are referencing, there is more to the story then just the name, but we don't discuss bans publicly. Things will happen in admin chat and without you being able to see it - so you cannot be quick to judge the situation.

As WaSe said, admins do have final say on decisions. Disruptive behaviour and activity will be admined, and this can include names.
