What do you do in the real world?

I do security At a major Sports Venue here in Colorado. We handle 3 major sports team and 2 minor ones. We also do alot of special events. Its a pretty good job. I get to hang out wit local celebrities on almost a daily bases(except during the off season). The office is pretty laid back as well. I also get to be apart of a big historic event coming up here in a few months. :) so that will be really fun.
 
Awesome that we have 3 stay at home moms!!! My wife stayed home with the kids until my youngest was two, then it was my turn to stay home while my course load was still light. Now that I am in class 5 days a week and work 1 the kids spend too much time in daycare and with grandparents while my wife works to pay the bills (she is a writer). I miss the kids having one of us around all the time, I think it was good for them!
 
I Babysit Cats, Go to school, Make logos for Companys (graphics), Produce Music, Write Drumline music, March Lead Snare, Mowe the lawn, Clean out the dishwasher lol oh yeah and heal people who say "medic"

You're my hero. Right now I've finished my associates and I'm trying to decide whether to major in anthro or geo.. because I like them both. Was thinking of minoring in Anthro with a Geo major just in case.... I don't fancy being a teacher. Any suggestions from someone who's further along in the process?
 
I'm 19 years old and currently trying to graduate from college and get another job, since I'm unemployed right now I got a lot of free time but I'm sure my days are numbered.
 
Moms FTW!

I currently spend most of my time chasing our 4 year old around, with a few hours a week of tutoring thrown in while she's at school.

Before she came along I was an Elementary School teacher. I love being home with her and wouldn't miss these years for anything. Being a mom is hard work but it's the BEST!
 
I am a Network Design Engineer at ATT (CCNP, CCIE written). I do network designs for all facets of the IT infrastructure. Lately been a lot of Wireless, but I still get to touch routers and switches a lot.

Hera is my wife, and I am very happy that we are able to have one of us stay at home with our child (soon to be children July 13!!!). If she made more money you can bet it would be me staying home instead of her :)

Stay at home Mom? Most difficult job ever! I tried to stay home with the Spawn, but I couldn't do it. It takes a special person to juggle all the aspects of that job and I totally admire and respect y'all for it. I think it's one of the most underappriciated and most definately underpaid jobs in our society.

I'm the Promotions/Online Content Director for a local cluster of radio stations. My day mostly consists of updating webpages, making graphics for print and web, and organizing remotes and givaways. Occassionally you can hear me on the radio doing a reality show update or in a commercial when the voice of a small child is required. :)

Most fun parts of my job: 1. Free backstage and concert tickets - although I don't listen to most of the music we play, it's a great excuse to get out and experience something new. 2. Calling winners - what a great feeling to call someone up and tell them that they just won money, or a trip, or concert tickets. I think that's why I'm usually in a good mood. :)

Other than that, I play a lot of tennis, love to geocache, go to lots of t-ball and soccer games, and scrapbooking is my crazy person hobby. :)

Check out colleges. That's really about it. I'd say determine how much you like rocks or people lol. then you'll know.
 
9th grade kid intending to go to medical school and become a surgeon, but also an avid tennis player, reader, and GAMER!

Alright, so, I'm a Center Store Manager at a grocery store in Florida.. To be exact, and most of you may have heard it via the movie, I work at Winn Dixie. Basically, I'm in charge of the merchandising throughout the hole store, and I oversee the day to day operations in the Dairy/Frozen, General Merchandise, and Grocery Departments.. However, I do run the store on a day to day basis after the Store Director/Co Director have left... So, basically, we're talking about being in charge of 80 people, all the while keeping EVERYONE happy who walks through the front door....Also, I am A+ certified, but that doesn't mean I put it to waste!
