hey guys i went out range shooting today and shot a bunch of guns:
M1 Grand, Mosin-Nagant, Ak-47, .22 Rifle, .45 Magnum, 12 Gage Shotgun, Bushmaster AR-15...that is what i shot today not including months before...anyway the question is, what all guns have you guys shot?

Im not exactly sure of what type they are, but I've shot 2 different handguns and an assault rifle.

Zopy, you are a gun nut in the making. I am a full-blown gun nut. I have shot quite a few calibers. I have fired the M1 Garande, Mosin-Nagant, .270 Winchester (don't remember the make/model, but it was bolt action), an SKS (7.62 x 39mm), 12 gauge shotgun, 20 gauge shotgun, .69 black powder, .22 long and .22 short. Them's the long guns.

Pistols: .50 S&W, .45 ACP 1911 style, .44 magnum, .40 S&W, 9mm, .357 magnum, .38 special (.357 and .38 may both be fired from a .357 handgun, I used a Colt Python), .32 semi-auto and .32 rimmed (revolver). .22 long from revolver and semi-auto handguns, .22 short from a revolver.

I own a Ruger .22 carbine, 12 gauge shotgun and a .9mm Beretta PX4 Storm (with a second on the way for Bubbles so we can go to the range together).

Serious shooters may scoff at the choice of 9mm over .45. Gun snobs are like that. <big grin> I chose it because:
(1) The practice ammo is cheaper, and I hope never to use my gun anywhere but on the range.
(2) You get better than 90% stop with 9mm, .40 or .45
(3) Recoil is less, so it's easier to keep the pistol on target
(4) You can fit more rounds in the magazine (moot point in California where you have a 10 round mag limit, but I won't be here forever).

If you're thinking about a Beretta PX4 Storm, it is a sweet, sweet gun to fire, as Dangerdad can attest. When it comes to trigger pull, the only gun I like as much is a Sig, of course. Springfield makes a decent gun as well, but I do not like the "double" trigger safeties. Give me a nice big safety on top and a single, smooth-traveling trigger with a clean break.

My girlfriend and I have a Browning 9mm and a .22 rifle with a decent scope. I prefer the rifle, and am a pretty decent shot....the 9mm is pretty powerful and hurts my poor little ears!

I've also shot a sawed off shotgun (quite some kick!), .38 special, and .22 handgun. Haven't had that much experience, but I feel safer just knowing we have a couple at home ready if needed...I would like to get out to the shooting range more.

Girlfriend was in the Air Force for 8 years, and she got to shoot one of the big guns mounted on top of the HumVee-she said that was an awesome experience!

I've shot a .22 rifle. Lol thats it. My dad is a police officer, so I've gotta have a hidden armory around here or something lol. I've just gotta turn all the pictures in the house till a secret compartment opens!

I'm not 21 yet, so I don't own any handguns, but my father has a .38, two .45s, a .22, and a .32 derringer. Both of his .45s are 1911 pistols, which I absolutely adore. We can't shoot the second one though, because it's from 1945 and worth a couple grand :P

I'm also about 2/3 of the way done building a Kar98 rifle out of parts I've purchased through eBay. I would be 98% done, but the idiot I bought the stock off of told me it was a K98 stock and it ended up being a Gewehr98 stock, which is about a foot longer than the carbine version. I've even got an authentic WWII bayonet for it (although it's a bit bent.)

My personal favorite is the Civil War, black powder, percussion cap, muzzle-loading rifle my brother has. Kicks like a mule, loud as all get out, and more satisfying than ANYTHING to fire! :D

Px4 in 9mm... Exotic.... .500 Smith and Wesson.. also, very exotic AND bold.

Actually, last night I just bought a Ruger P94, .40S&W. I LOVE that pistol! Now I just need to practice with it. Aside from that, it has a good weight, a 10-round mag, and is sturdy as all get-out. Hooray 2nd Amendment!

Ok...here is my list.

Ive shot an m16a1 and a2 m4 carbine, m1 garand, m203 grenade launcher, 249 SAW, 240 bravo and charlie machine gun, .50 caliber sniper rifle and machine gun, 80 mm mortar, 120 mm mortar, 120 mm sabot round from a tank as well as obstacle reducing and heat rounds, Mark19 auto grenade launcher, m2 "Mah Duece" AT4 anti-tank rocket, ak-47, Dragunov sniper rifle, PKC machine gun, and while teaching the lovely Iraqi army how to use their own weapons......I shot the RPG-7 armor piercing RPG.

Heh... With Sarge being in the military, we shouldn't be surprised by that monster list!

Now, the question remains, what was your favorite of all those?

Im betting the RPG... I have a Colt Navy Revolver as it is considered an antique I can have it. My dad owns a liberator pistol (basically mine, once I turn 21) a WW2 bazooka, a tokarev, and a mp40... I have fired more guns than I can name, but to name a couple, moisin nagant, and a tokarev (im a big fan of the soviet arsenal...)

No M24? The Remington 700 is about the coolest rifle ever.

Beretta really makes a nice firearm. I think when it comes to price and quality, they're just about perfect. Someone mentioned Ruger pistols above--also great guns, I need to try one of their semi-autos. The Beretta PX4's rotating barrel feature really does seem to reduce torque and soften recoil--that's natural to some degree, if you take up some of the recoil with a mechanical act beyond racking the slide, you absorb some extra force. I've had the chance to fire my PX4, then Dangerdad's 92FS, and there does seem to be a difference.

The PX4 is my favorite, though I also like the .40s I've tried. The .500 S&W was a blast (literally and figuratively) to fire, but not practical for me (ammo's expensive).

Sarge, I've always wanted to try a Ma Duce firing .50 BMG. I'll never get the chance since I'm not military or rich and living in Arizona or Nevada, but I've always wanted to try butterfly thumb triggers.

I personally don't own any firearms of my own (yet), but I have shot quite a few of my friend's. To start off, Mauser K98, Mosin-Nagant, Ruger Mini-14, Luger P08 (<3, WWI Era), Ruger P80, a couple .38 and .44 revolvers, a few shotguns; 12ga and 20ga, and of course .22 rifles.

I also used to shoot competitive precision air rifle, so I've fired my fair share of really nice air rifles.

I own a Beretta 92FS, basically the civilian version of the M9. I love the 9mm for the same reason as Monkey, and since we use the same caliber it's easy to share ammo at the range. My Father-in-law has a Walther PPK (.32 auto) which is fun to fire, though the sharp edges can nip you.

I want a 9mm carbine (I've fired a Ruger 9mm carbine and love it).

I've fired a Desert Eagle, S&W .500, .45 auto, .38 and .357 Mag. Also, on my first range trip Monkey and I stood by while someone fired a Barett .50. Wow that's a cannon.

Hopefully my next gun is a SIG P229 in 9mm. They're pricey, but I think the best carry gun for me.
