CT Bans

As of right now, the punishment system is flawed. You can spray down a stack, go on vacation, come home and play again as if you were never punished because the two weeks went up while you were on vacation. I've seen players come on, mfk, get ct banned, come back 2 weeks later and do the exact same thing. That isn't a punishment. That is a delay until you can join.

My proposition here is you cannot join CT until you have completed said amount hours of alive time. MFK would be a 6 hour alive time, and for normal people that takes upwards of a week of daily playing. People like me can get that done in 8 hours. Depends on your skill and activity/schedule. I believe the current swap system works, with the 15 minute delay.

Just an idea, let me know what you think.

I mean it used to be Revoke for 3-5 rounds, then kicked, then banned from the server for a week, then banned from the server for a month, then perma/year ban.

In a mass freekill it was a week ban from the server but can be more though most people dont comeback after a week or two ban, but if they do and still screw up, then permaban!

Shouldn't have really changed, but its really up to the admins to follow it.

well on pg at a time there was that when you sprayed stack you got a 2 weeks ct ban, but still if they do the same shit over again its a ban from the server until perma ban as R Rogue Sniper said, but yeah in genreally its just up to the admins to ban them or something

But since Custom disliked my thread maybe I understood you wrong. If you keep spraying down stack intentionally you won't get perma banned look at Billy The Cousin ****er he did it a few times (5+ times) and got banned for it many times he only got perma banned once for advertising TW on the server unless he was banned in secret?

if someone is continously spraying down stack report them for server disruption, Wouldnt spraying down stack woul be considered server disruption either way? lol

If they want to spray a stack they want to play our server/don't belong on the server or part of the community.
There is no reason why anyone that cares one once to spray down a stack

It depends, Mass freekill is just 3+ freekills. Sometimes people will hear a wrong command and start shooting but stop and apologize or maybe throw a molly in vents on accident. That should just be a CT ban to learn

If you become CT, get an ak or Negev and start mowing down that should be a temp glob ban then perma.
You can tell if it's intentional or not

My two main suggestions would be,

1) Perma CT ban after x amount of stack sprays.
2) 3 week CT ban and a 1 week server ban for server disruption.

I can't imagine that it's too hard to change banning protocol. But I reported someone the other day and he was given a month ban because he's done it before so maybe leadership is already doing more than 2 week bans.

Spray stack = intentional.
Mass freekill = maybe not intentional

Just as a whole, I'd like to remind everyone (both admins and non-admins) that ban times are at the admins discretion. We have given you ideas of times and the reasons behind them, but at the end of the day, the admin executing the action has the choice of the time for these punishments. We have handed you the tools and knowledge and know you have common sense (I hope) to make a wise decision yourself. Leadership has access to more tools to decide on further punishment after that, and can handle repeat offenders.

But people change. Then again, we have a contest ban. Either way I believe the alive time would fix a lot of things.

I think as an admin it's good to know this. Every admin should be made aware of this. As a prior admin I can so this is the first time I'm hearing this and that if admins start doing this that the server will become cleaner.
