Counter-Strike Global Offensive Jail Server Curious about VIP !votekick, looking for a rule list

not sure when i can and cant !votekick, dont know if i need to warn them, or what. is there a rules list anywhere? thanks guys

what i did before is, whenever an admin is on do not votekick.
obviously if the admin is afk and someone is spamming racist words you should vote kick them, get logs and request a ban. or if someone is clearly disrupting the server (after being warned multiple times) you should be able to votekick them
(this is if theres no active admin on)

Rules to Enforce

Ghosting - Votekick, Voteban

Harassment - Warn, Votekick, Voteban

Server Disruption - Warn, Votekick, Voteban

Spamming - Warn, Votekick, Voteban

Hacking - Voteban
(Note: Make sure to get proof and make a forum report with the evidence)

Disrespect - Warn, Votekick, Voteban

Racism - Votekick, Voteban

Intentional RDM - Warn, VoteKick, Voteban

All votekicks and votebans should have appropriate and short reasons such as the ones stated above. If a player has been votebanned and you believe their violation is severe enough and you have evidence, make a report and we will be able to make a new ban with an appropriate length. If you need to use voteban, which should always be a last resort, please do make an effort to write these reports, removing unwanted players from our servers is always best.

Misuse of Powers

As a VIP on our server we entrust you with the power to be able to remove troublesome players. If you are misusing your powers against innocent players or yourself, punishment can follow. A member of AT Leadership will handle reports on users that have abused that power.

If you are the victim of a VIP abusing their votekick or voteban powers on you, then you should definitely report it on the forums. We also strongly encourage you to report a VIP if you see them abusing their powers on another person. You can report them here.

personally, I think votekick and dumb. I think until you get a leadership (^^^) response, you should not use it, just to be safe. Obviously if you want to use it to temp ban a stack sprayer, go ahead, but otherwise, I would be cafeful.

Stack spraying is only ct ban though? :think:
i would use it if someone disrupts the server hard or says any racist words, then you should make a ban request (if what they do deserves a ban)

Yes, you do that, but you if there is also no admin on server, you can make a temp ban so it wouldn't happen again before the ban request is completed

Keep posted to that thread. I'm going to lock this one for now to avoid multiple discussions and incorrect information. I'm not sure what rules you will want to follow currently, but use common sense. I'm moving things into leadership discussion so we can get clear information on this plugin and its uses.
