ok... I have been out for about a week (had to totally reload my system)
I got TF2 reloaded today and I noticed that the scoreboard at the bottom is gone and I can't find any setting to get it back... did the last update remove it or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Maby the personal thing where it tells you howmany kills, assists, dominations, etc.

If its what Woodstock is talking about, when you reinstall the game, it lost your stats, so that will be gone until you play again.

clarification on RedFlag's post: Not gone permanently, because it's all stored on Valve's servers. It'll sync up next time you play a round or so.

if that's the issue you're referring to.

no... before I reloaded.... at the bottom of the screen it showed the score and the status of the flag (on ctf maps)...and it also has an arrow always pointing in the direction of the flags... it is apparently something that I turned on at some point and I don't remember how I did it

Don't know what you have going on there. All that stuff works for me. Don't know what setting that would be.

that's your HUD...i don't think it's something you turn on or off...are you running the game in a window? or is it full-screen?

Under Options -> Multiplayer, I think there's a checkbox named "Minimized HUD".
Try it out, see what happends. Also, maybe your resolution is too high.
Hope you get it working, mate.

It might be that you have "minimal hud" enabled in your options. Check that out, 'cause it'll make a lot of stuff smaller or hide it altogether.
