I would like to see if this ghost mode could be added to the current CS:GO servers such as JailBreak and TTT so after player death they could freely roam the map as well as play the games while not interfering in the overall gameplay.

I know a plugin was suggested before but as this is now an in game feature this could be implemented without the problems the plugin had (specifically blocking bullets)

It's a cool suggestion and all, but with valve's implementation ghosts can disrupt the server, on JB, by breaking vents, opening doors, pushing stop/start buttons, and knifing guns into stack. If it were to be implemented there would still have to be a plugin workaround

Yeah, would have to be a custom plugin - it caused quite a few issues today apparently. It would be cool though, down the road perhaps if jail is being rewritten at some point

Having an !ghost command or a similar !redie command that Skynet has would be awesome. It would boost player retention through the roof as one can continue playing map games even after death.

Apparently its near impossible adding an !ghost command without some sort of repercussion.

A guy can dream tho :/

Ghosts where the best thing when it was on Jb. Some people used it to server disrupt but other than that it was fun, only problem was that whenever you pressed R it moved u to spectators. I got a vid of it.

Sounds interesting. I am unsure if we can even make it the way you can't do any of those things and well, admins on JB would still need to watch the rest of the players. But, potentially very good for population, just like I said, I don't know if it will be possible.

If you can do it, than you should. It would be the best things, instead of specing smn for hours you could just get better at climb as a ghost or anything like that.

Right now I don't believe there is any plugin that is able to truly play as a ghost without disrupting gameplay somehow. If you ever find one that works, by all means let us know. If you know someone who would make one, same as what I said before.

Thanks for the suggestion!
