Counter-Strike: Global Offensive !redie possibility?

So recently they did a halloween special event for cs:go. In this event when u die u can become a ghost. these ghost can zuess people and stuff. Since redie has some bugs I feel like we can icorporate the respawn part of this update to make u a ghost. Take out the zuess part, the interact part, and we have !redie. I think we should look into this.

I was talking to thorgot about the possibility about having such a plug-in. He mentioned its virtually impossible having a plug-in without some sort of interference, such as blocking button, or blocking gun shots or knives.

If there is a method in preventing any form of interference having an !redie plug-in on our servers would be HUGE.

Maybe this new ghost state doesn't have those limitations. Some sourcemod guru will have to experiment with it, assuming valve even leaves it in the game after Halloween.

I'm pretty sure the ghosts could press buttons and hit around objects (like soccer balls), and I believe this was one of the problems that !redie had as well.

Skynetgaming's Jailbreak server has an !redie plug-in that doesn't allow you to press button or knife objects like a soccer ball while in use and you are able to play games that don't require a start button or a door to open while you're dead. The second you take lethal damage you respawn or if you get stuck I believe you are able to type !redie to respawn again at default T or CT spawns.

I wasn't able to test other in-game interference like blocking damage or buttons though so Im not sure if its 100% clean.

I know that SNG's Jailbreak has !redie. I don't think it would hurt to talk to their developer and see what problems they've encountered. They also have a really good developing team so I wouldn't be surprised if they found a workaround.

Other than the issues and possible fixes, tech is currently overwhelmed with many other large and important projects right now. There is a big list of things afterwards that has to be completed as well.

If it's merely a question of asking SNG/talking to them, it doesn't necessarily have to be a tech person.
If it does come to us getting the plugin one way or the other (without actually making it ourselves), I don't think it would be that difficult to add it to the server.

If none of this is possible, I 100% agree that there are things that take higher priority.
