What is the story behind your name?

So, I keep asking people why they chose their names and I was thinking why not make a thread about it so that I dont need to annoy the hell out of people anymore.

Let's start off with my name. I chose United Airlines because it was a meme a while ago. It was meant to be my name for a month or two until the meme died but I kept it.

Why did you choose your name?

well i dont know why i chose my name, i just found it cool, and because i like to hide and get some sick as sniper kills cuz im a beast, but yeah and i was hiding in corners and scaring people before killing them, so i think thats why i have it

My name used to be Archer which was short for JCM_Archer and I got that name a very long time ago when I played a game called Guild Wars and my character was an archer and of course my initials are JCM.

I changed my name and literally me and my friend sat in discord and brain stormed the most web names we could think of and Ayto was the winner.

Well, I searched up random words to base my name off of, found the word Apex, meaning at the peak or something like that, put Lock (kind of like locked at the Apex) and just went with that...

Creating a youtube channel, i was doing to be a username (with a hint of my real name) but i later i put Enrique16ish.

So my username story all started back in middle school, probably about a decade ago at this point. One day I was on the bus ride home, when my group of friends and I were joking around, and one of my friends said I was "Rad... Ish" and BOOM, the birth of Raddish as a username came upon the world.

The current edition of my username "TehRaddish" came from the meme, that is my username. I.E *Teh faaaaaancy* and it just stuck. Raddish is the root, and og name.Alas, people interpret it as a radish, like the vegetable. So now I just go by the "Slightly cool vegetable" lmao

My previous name was SheToldMeSheWas18 as most of you already know. If I remember correctly, I chose this name when I started playing Zombie Panic: Source, the reason behind the name itself and why I picked it remains unknown. Shortly after, my adventures/name expanded to Counter-Strike: Source. After 7 long years with this name, I was kindly asked to change name for reasons that do not need to be explained. After count-less hours of brain-storming names, I felt CtrlAltDelicious would be a more than adequate replacement to my original name. An old meme, for a new meme :laugh:

My friend use to smurf on my account and as a troll name he put makalala with a picuture of maikelele, i kinda liked it so i kept it.

My story is pretty interesting, so it all started from the game Counter Strike Condition Zero (Ultimate Edition).
I used to play offline with the bots and I was kinda a noob player. There were these two bots in game with the name 'DOMINIC' and 'The Flash'. These two bots represented the creators of the game and were one of the best bots. Dominic was the Creator's name and The Flash was his gaming nick. They would prefire you even if 10% of your pixel is visible. The Flash was the AWPER and DOMINIC was AK/M4 specialist.
I was not a AWPER fan at that time so I choose DOMINIC as my player name.
Since then, I've never changed my name. So maybe since 2010, my gaming name is DOMINIC.

I used to use lins which is just a shortening of my name. For a few reasons, I've changed my name to Cascsiany, which I've gamed under for about a decade. Cascsiany came about as a combination of my cats names at the time: Casper, Sassy, Macy, and Persian.

used to go by "Fist?", but wanted something unique for all of my accounts under 1 name, since fist was popular. changed it to this after watching a joke similar to my name on Whose Line is It Anyway?

Before I changed my name to Saber, it was Nep, which is short for Neptune. Neptune is a name I got from a character in a game series called Neptunia. And of course, Neptune was my favorite character from that game. I loved that character a lot. She is energetic and optimistic, and is always happy. She is described as careless and carefree. Idk the specifics of why I fell in love with her, but I did. About two and a half years ago, I started calling myself Neptune, and since then, that has been my online alias.
