I've come across this bug quite a bit in the past, doesn't happen all the time but it is extremely disrupting when it does.

Does anyone have a clip of this happening? With "crashes a bit", do you mean the audio lags, or skips seconds? Or is the only issue that sometimes the audio will get very loud?

I have experienced this bug before. It glitches every audio on the whole server and the music is just loud and it stops and work again whenever someone trying to speak. Rarely happens though and no one knows what triggers it.

When it does happen again, I would like your console output, and a video :)

What do you mean by console output, I can easly record it. I don't really mind as long as it get's fixed.

Whenever it happens, open up console in CS:GO by pressing the ` key. Then copy/paste the logs in the console here, along with the video.

Could I not just copy the logs, from what I know your able to turn the logs into a file. Does anyone know how to do that?

Once you have the log files in console you can type 'condump' in console and it will create a file called condump 1 or something (im not 100% sure on the name but its like that) in your csgo directory folder.

Hmm, thanks for the recording. This is indeed very ear rapy. I am gonna look into this, but I may have to resort to removing the sound completely...

Assigned to myself.

I've been on a server that had an sm_stop command available to all players which would stop all sounds currently playing. This would also let people fix the issue for themselves until the mapmaker gets off his butt and updates the map.

Add -condebug to your launch options. it will make a "console.txt" file in your CS:GO folder in Steam. Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo

There's also nothing in console displayed about it. I spent like an hour last night with just dodge course cordoned off trying a myriad of different things from changing the audio range, to removing the source position on the platform, to having it play everywhere, to replacing the textures of the area, and even getting a different version of the mp3. Literally nothing worked except for changing out the audio entirely for a different song, and I only tested one other.

Since it happens with just that area loaded in the cordon while in a solo session, you can tell the issue doesn't come from an outside plugin or an outside area. I don't know if csgo just doesn't like the sounds being played or what, but for the life of me I'm stumped.

A workaround until then is to change your audio settings. Like from speaker to 5.1 surround and then back. There was a client command that would also stop sounds, but I don't remember what it is as the last time I used it was bout 3 years ago.
