Tech Help Can't Connect to EGO Servers

For the past few months, I haven't had the ability to connect to the teamspeak. Just recently, eGO CS servers have stopped popping up in my community server browser and I can't direct connect via IP. I just reset my PC and tried again, and it still isn't fixed. I can connect to different teamspeak servers and some other CS servers. I do not see any big CS servers in my list and Faceit servers work.

I'd really appreciate some help with this, thanks!

Nothing custom, toggled off windows firewall and still can't connect to teamspeak. Will resolve hostname with and without firewall, just can't connect to the servver.

Do a traceroute - see where this is stopping the connection along the way.

How many people share the same connection as you?

Is it possible to have another PC on the same network as you attempt to connect to eGO's teamspeak?

The thing with tracert is that it's not really practical. ICMP packets contain the lowest priority and most of the time, the issues you find are based with the ISP you use. Also, if there's prime time traffic going on, some ISPs drop ICMP packets to process real data.

In this case, it seems to get all the way to Telia, a backbone, then drops right before it hits NFO, which is what I'm gonna assume eGO uses for its TS server on CoreOS.

Also, just noticed that you are on a wireless connection.

Are you connected to a router? Or did your ISP give you a modem that provides WiFi?

If you are on a router or WiFi- Is it possible to get a directly connected line? Like an ethernet connection instead.

I am using Powerline Networking, not WiFi. I tested connection to teamspeak on my laptop using WiFi and direct ethernet (not using powerline) and both of them failed to connect. Also, apparently I actually can't connect to other teamspeak servers, but I can connect to a friend's hosted server.

However, I tested USB Tethering with my phone and was able to connect to teamspeak.

A long time ago, I used to have issues with bridging. I was unable to access certain webpages, see some CS:S servers, and my upload speed was so slow. This was caused by an update that was out of whack.

Make sure no updates were applied to Powerlink or your router to cause any issues.

If all else is done, I can only assume its an issue with an intermediate router or your ISP as mobile tethering seems to circumvent the issue you're experiencing.
