i have that headset that is in your post and it is very good haven't had problems with it so i would say go for them

If you don't mind changing the setup a little bit, I recommend grabbing a pair of Sennheiser headphones (I've got the HD 598s) and a desktop microphone from Blue.

Hyper X makes a great product, would highly recommend

I have an astro a50 wireless headset, mic kind of sucks but the sound is great, works for both console and PC

I'd get SteelSeries Arctis 5, these headphones are great and are the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. I have gone through 4 sets of headphones in the pass year, and this is by far the best of them. I was at first doubtful of buying them at first because they looked quite odd compared to others, but I don't regret the purchase at all now.

I have the ROG Centurion 7.1 headset. It's quite amazing, though long-term comfort isn't there as the headset runs a bit tight (on my big ass head at least). Great if you want a true 7.1 surround headset!

As for your mic, if budget allows, I highly suggest an external setup. I have a Scarlet CM25 condenser mic connected to a Scarlet amplifier and a cheap desk-mounted mic boom that I bought from Amazon. Quality is fantastic and I get a lot of in-game compliments for how clear my voice is. It's also good at filtering out background noise; a lot of times I'll play games through my JBL studio monitors (also routed through aforementioned amp) and never get complaints of hearing the game or my keyboard/mouse clicks with an open mic in Discord. I know headset mics tend to pick those up especially when using sound detection over PTT.

Edit: Didn't see budget post. I'll keep my post up just in case, though.

Corsair VOID Pro. It went thru the test of my dad getting mad at me for no reason and slamming em on the ground and they survived with no scratches. The microphone is really good and the setup is simple, although the auto shutdown is sort of annoying. Wireless is also a big positive :)

As others have suggested, the HyperX Cloud II's are fantastic. Bought them a few months ago and they are extremely comfortable and have great sound quality.

Hey everyone, im looking for a new headset. my old one got ****ed and the microphone dosent work. if you have any suggestions please feel free to tell me.

This is the one im currently looking at:

Thanks!

Imo Sennheiser is the company to beat in any audio category. I have never had an issue with any of their products

At the same time though I would suggest just a normal headphones and get a stand alone mic rather than a headset

Astros for high end prices and decent quality but for cheap and good, corsair. Good solid colors, decent mix quality that does pick up a lot of sound, but could be adjusted in volume settings.
