Vouch X100000 for the Hyper X - Best set I have had since the pair of $300+ were stolen in a break in....Wont spend that much ever again!!
The Hyper X has a metal head band that connects to a fairly beefy fastener, I looked at a lot of headsets before getting mine, because my previous set had that metal band and those were built to last, but too pricey when you can get "similar" sound quality these days from a 100-150 range set.
