With the addition of new maps, I believe the list could do with a little refreshing.
Although some may argue that there's too many on the list, or some maps are overplayed, or there are bad maps in the map pool, these are not the arguments I'm presenting here today.
I think we need to clear out some older maps that are not getting the playtime to become enjoyable to play on.
Maps require at least some basic understanding from CT's to be played well. T's need to know some of the ways to rebel, a meta needs to form. Some maps just aren't receiving enough playtime for this meta to form. This means when we, on rare occasion, do get onto them, no one knows what they are doing and it's not an enjoyable experience.
I've been thinking about making this post for a while now, but what triggered it was last night. I hopped on the server because jb_mist_v1_pg was voted for. This was a very rare so I was excited to play it. Despite Jacko's best efforts, he was the only person who knew it well, so the rounds went pretty poorly and people became frustrated.
Now, this is despite the map being on the server a long time, and despite the map clearly not being a "bad map". The server lost 20 players and then RTV was called, people then voted back to clouds (and unfortunately the server crashed) and we ended up playing Vice.
There are a number of older maps that may also be effected by this I'd like to hear other's suggestions. I'd say Vice used to be like this, but now people have been forced onto it, gameplay has drastically improved.
