[Minigames] - Remove bhopping for AWP maps

The AWP maps are supposed to be two teams facing off across a map. Instead, it's them charging each other with knives, while the stragglers who can't bhop are picked off, making is unfair for those who can't or haven't learned how to bhop. All that would be needed is the same thing that is done on the deathrun maps that disables bhopping, and the map would be back to how it was originally supposed to function.

I'd say remove bhopping from awp maps which is the original suggestion. OR just slow down the max speed you can get. Like you can go soooo fast when bhopping, if you were to slow it down than you would still be able to bhop and be hit by an awp.

I played on MG recently and asked some players how they felt on this.

Removing Knifes is a better solution than Bhop. Removing Bhop would slow down rounds and remove the fast paced feel you need for MG. I have also not witnessed anyone struggling to Bhop on MG, so removng Bhop does not level the playing feild if that is what you are worried about.

I also asked 20 people on MG whether they would want Bhop removed vs. knifes, and all but one agreed that removing knifes is a better alternative to removing Bhop. A thread suggesting this is here:

Knifing is soo fun in awp only, the only problem I see with the current situation is that you can constantly bhop, not get hit and just knife them. If bhoping stays and knives get removed than people will purposely bhop around delaying the round hard af. Lol from when did bhop make it MG fast paced when its awp.

Well removing Bhop from awp only games will be hard for then you will deactivate all of the other minigames that needs bhop.

If you remove the knifes you woulnd't be able to play minigames where you need a knifes so its both good and bad.

But if tech team can do some wudo plugin then i will be amazed

For now, we will leave things how they are. The population of the server enjoys having the auto-hop on (the main population). I realize there are people who don't enjoy it because it defeats the purpose of the minigames (trust me, I feel your pain), but if the majority of the player-base is happy with it then it would be criminal of us to take that away.

If we see that the ideology of the server switches to hating the bhop feature, then we will revisit this. Cheers everyone!
