I mentioned this once in another thread HERE but wanted to put this here because I think this could possibly be a good idea.
My idea is to lower the time on each map from an hour to 45 minutes. Along with this would be to add another 2 maps before a map can be nominated again.
Right now the system is once a map is played it takes 6 maps, each has a map time of 1 hour, totaling 6 hours before a map can be played again. If you use my system it will take 8 maps, each 45 minutes, which also totals up to 6 hours so it does not actually increase the amount of time between maps itself.
I think this is a good idea because:
Example of current system:
Peanut (1st map)
arcade (1 hour)
obama (2 hours)
undertale (3 hours)
vipinthemix (4 hours)
tropico (5 hours)
minecraft beta (6 hours)
Peanut (Back to original map)
Example of new system:
Peanut (1st map)
arcade (.75 hours)
obama (1.5 hours)
undertale (2.25 hours)
vipinthemix (3 hours)
Tropico (3.75 hours)
Minecraft beta (4.5 hours)
clouds (5.25 hours)
canyondam (6 hours)
Peanut (Back to original map)
Edit to include what Jacko said for visibility because it is also a good idea:

I think this is a good idea because:
- Most of the time by the last 10-15 minutes of the map most map games have been played multiple times, most prisoners have rebelled most of the rebel routes, most secrets have already been used, and this is when people start rtving or leaving
- It encourages people to play more underplayed and underappreciated maps
- It keeps the server more alive because if we keep moving through maps people would be able to experience more instead of just playing the same climb, or breakfloor for an hour.

Peanut (1st map)
arcade (1 hour)

We should also allow players to vote to extend the map for 15 mins at the end of the round before the map changes at the end of the 45 mins.
