Vac error

So, whenever I open up cs and try to play MM or play on any Vac secured server I get kicked with a vac authentication error. I have tried to verify the files and restart my pc and that worked for a while but now it only works sometimes. I can't be on the servers as much as before because of this. If anyone has a solution please tell me. Thank you

Have you used some sort of cheat on an alt or something?? It does happen whenever you have cheated on an alt the day before. Whenever I used to cheat on an alt (To see how it looks like, etc) I remember the next day I logged onto my main account and saw this pop up. I just verified my game files but since it didn't work out for you than idk. Hopefully you can get this fixed because it is annoying.

Best way to get rid of it:

Delete Counter Strike and reinstall Counter Strike. Could be some custom texture installed by any of the community servers you have been playing on recently, or in the past. I have had this issue a lot when I was active with mapping and having custom textures in my folders. (They did not even override the default textures)

first, make sure you aren't vac banned. you can do that in steam.

I am sure that it isnt a van ban because sometimes I can join the servers without a problem

I've had this problem multiple times and this is the most reliable way to fix it.

First validate your files

Then open your run menu (windows + r) and type in this command

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\SteamService.exe" /repair

After it's repaired restart your PC. You should have no problems from here

sadly I have tried this and it hasnt worked but I havent had a problem today so I hope it stays this way ;D

When I get this I usually have to validate my files multiple times then restart my PC.

Steam Library > Right Click CSGO > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of game files.

Validate your files multiple times or until no exceptions were made. Then restart your PC and try to join a server.

Repair the steam client. I got this before and doing this worked for me.
