Hello! hope everyone have a great day.

So i know that this has been suggested alot but just want to bring it up once more

we should get a EU server to ttt and jb for if we can run a beta on eu servers so we can see how well it goes and if it goes good we could offical make the server, so if you have an opinion on these please write and say so we can bring it further up

I would want this to happend. But there's some problems, how do you know that people will play on the server, most people that play are from Canada or USA. There has to be something that makes EU players play our servers instead of other popular EU Jailbreak/TTT servers. It's worth a try. I rarely get to play with the server full on JB, It's really boring playing with 20 people on.

I'm in the middle. All I wrote is just my opinion.

I see what you mean, but im trying to get more eu players to our servers, for those csgo videos im making to my channel is mostly directed to our servers and our community, i will be more active one the servers so i can make more videos, im planing to go with 2-3 videos a day, but its hard to grow when you have a small channel.

But i do see this happening, for it will create a wider pooulation and more support

I mean, if you think you can get quite a good csgo channel than good luck. Self confidence is really important.

Only problem with that is then now you have 4 servers that need to be funded. eGO being a volunteer community makes it's budget even lower than what it would be if everyone had to pay to be a member of eGO but if they did that then there would hardly be as many members as we have now, Although it's a good idea for people ONLY in the EU, but for people who aren't it will make it worse for others, so I'd agree on a EU expansion but I will disagree of it being a good idea since we already have the servers, not to mention the servers are ran by the Tech team so it's going to automatically run off of their server settings. Then again I haven't ran a server in a long time so your odds are 50/50 good luck with your idea. :) - P.S if you can't get someone to do it for you, do it yourself. ^^ just see if they'd let you fund your own server. and perhaps have other people join in on the project.

Last time I did a server was in CSS so don't quote me on it being a bad idea. ^^

creating a server for the small percentage of a community just... doesnt work. you are already alienating about 90% of eGO as well as 75% of the target CS playerbase that actually participates in community servers. And most european players that do play on our servers, ive noticed never complain about ping issues or problems, they are just used to it. its a neat idea, but when we already have so many servers to fund theres no rhyme or reason to do so.

Edit: That being said, i would love to see some changes to benefit european players. euro hour was a fantastic idea and i wish we could continue to host events at earlier times that are more european-friendly.

Ping isn't really that big of an issue, maybe in shot 4 shot and whenever your knifing someone but that's about it, other than that I don't see any problems with ping.

-1

Why would we really need it? Just for a small percent of the server? Yes, the server will bring in new people. But, maybe those people don't speak English, EU has a vast amount of languages. So, enforcing that would be very hard. We would need more EU admins. Just overall good idea, but -1

I see the counter argument here is "Kill the few to save the many." Though it's a good idea, I just don't see this working at all. It would be counter-intuitive to make EU servers for a community that mostly consists of people from North America

As much as I love the idea of having an EU server(s), we just don’t have the population for it right now. And we aren’t looking to expand our servers. Like I’ve said 100 times before, we won’t expand our servers until our servers we have now are thriving.
