Recomend me games I should buy from Steam

I'm interested in the Civilizations games, as well as Mass Effect, but are there any under the radar games you guys would recommend?

2. Age of Chivalry
3. Fistful of Frags
4. Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat
5. Synergy

I prefer mods, they're free!

the new sam and max games are pretty good - if you're into that style of game play give season one a try!

I wouldn't get GMod because Garry (the developer) is a total $#!%^&@*(#$R@^&*#($^%@^&!*(@^$%^&@*(!)@#($*&^%@#^$&*(@*&^%^&@* so there is no way I would recommend it or buy it.

-Unreal Tournament III
-Audiosurf

I like every single one of them, I highly recommend Bioshock, CoD4, and everything in the Orange Box (HL2, TF2, Portal).

Portal, COD4, bioshock. For free games try Garry's mod definitely. Check steam's top rated games, new releases, and top downloaded tabs. Those helped me make decisions faster.

Bioshock is a great game.
Mass Infect is also a great game (Mass Eject, Mass Prefect, Mass Elect, whatever)
I do NOT recommend Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. The one I got is broken.

If you like 4X games, I would recommend Civ IV. Also, it is not on Steam, but Galactic Civilizations II is a great 4X game.

Trials 2: Second Edition and Gish! God I love those games, those are the two best "under the radar-games" that excists on Steam!
