Input on the new map:HEIGHTS_DB2?

I liked it a lot! At first it did seem to be weighted towards the offense, but then with time, as the defense pulled together and worked as a team, it balanced out nicely. It really did force good teamwork, which I liked.
I still haven't decided if I like the new door in the house on map 2 yet, though. I am so used to using that as a semi-safe refuge, it made me jump when a pyro burst in on me and reduced me to ashes!

I know a good map play to on... cp_BloodStained... The creator is really good at mapping.

it was actually a good map, i never really liked dust as much as i liked 2fort but this one is actually going to be played more if we keep it

Yea it took a map i love and made it more fun to explore the changes and added the payload - nice work - had a blast last night - shouldnt have left to dustbowl it seemed so yesterday once I got there with all the lovely spawn camping going on - new favorite if this sticks around - oh and I DONT miss gravelpit -

I'd rather get the good ol' TFC Dustbowl back. That map would be ideal for playload in my opinion.

m2c: the map is great; the way dustbowl was manipulated and then juxtaposed with the payload gameset gives new life to my favorite map; however, the laggy spots on the map are cause for dissention

Only problems about the the Heights map is, the random black spots, the lighting in the first stage house, and how they just moved some brushes (Walls), made walls bigger, and how they just move some stuff out.

I would like to see some originality not just an edited map with moved brushes, props, and etc.

These things bother me. :((

Just My 100 Cents...

I love Dustbowl so very much, so to have it be a payload map is AWESOME. My main gripe is that it feels a lot less defendable in certain points... having the cart there healing the entire team turns what are major defense points in the regular Dustbowl into some pretty easy steamroll parts, from what little I've played of it.

I don't really like the new dustbowl, it just seems that attacking was way too hard and defending was too easy. Bring back gravelpit, if you ask me.

I think that instead of being a lot less defendable, its a lot less attackable (if thats a word LOL). Especially cause with a bunch of enginneers in places that spies can't get to, beating out the defending team is much more difficult... (Sorry I don't know which stage or cap it is :( )

i like this map its fun on it but i noticed when i went on (around 4-8 pm pst) the server will have a limited amount of people on it like today there was only 10 people on it. but besides the emptiness its a great map
