Hello Tech Team, if you are reading this now. Here's a suggestion that I would want implemented on this tech forum.

The idea is adding a flair to mark tech problems that got resolved.

When you have a problem that still persists, and no one fixes the problem, the post remains for people to give advice or help further. When you add flair to mark the post, people don't post duplicate replies for the problem that got brought up.

If people want to add this, vote on the poll, and message what you think on the post.

Thanks,
Trevor

We used to be able to mark requests as complete. However, the thread originator is the one that had to do it. Otherwise, you could request a forum admin to lock the thread down to prevent any additional posts/spam (like the people who resurrect 2 year old threads for whatever reason). I think that option was removed because very few people were doing that. Pretty much the tech help people who answered questions were the ones who typically marked them complete or locked them; others would forget or not even know.

Pretty much this. This forum is not very active anymore. People seem to barely know how to use a forum these days, let alone coming to mark their threads as good and done.

I'm pretty sure I have plenty of Tech threads still open NotLikeThis
