Admins on Servers and Requirements to Join the Server

I don't know about other servers on different games, but because of CS:GO's change to becoming free has made community servers like JailBreak more obnoxious to deal with. How you may ask, well because now that the game is free anyone is able to make a steam account download CS:GO and join a community server, and from there be toxic and micspam n words mass free kill stack etc. This mainly happens where there are no admins on or vips on the server. And not always will there be people recording the action that is occuring of that moment. There are different types of people who join the server, people who want to have fun, people who want to be cancer, and others who want to ruin the fun and annoy everyone but spitting out unneeded racism and harrassing behaviour. I understand that I am a cancer warden on JailBreak, however I dont break rules intentionally or do I harrass players intentionally. When admins are on they would ban the players who are breaking the rules. However players are allowed to make as many accounts they desire not only that, but they are also able to use VPN's to prevent themselves from getting ip banned. Now what I propose is either making a requirement for players to be atleast a certain level on steam or have a certain rank on steam or having steam guard / prime or even have a certain amount of hours of csgo played. Or have atleast one admin on the server at all times to atleast prevent and punish the people who do these wrong doing.

You've restated a problem that's been noticed 50 times before, and unfortunately there's nothing we can do. It's not possible to "force" someone to be doing something 24/7 (unless it's a real job, and let's face it, we're volunteers.) so I don't see this even being a possibility. Also, the idea of making it so people have to have a certain amount of time before they can join has already been suggested.

We admins we will be on but we also have real times job, and you have to look we are from different coutries, lets take me im from denmark i wake up at 6 AM GMT+3 and then im home 8-9 hours later, then im tired and just wanna chill, but 2 min later i have dinner so i got to eat that, i come back ready to play for like 5 hours before i head to bed, you see my schedule is really hard, thats why im mostly on in the weekends, and propaply the same with other admins, but otherwise we are trying to be more on and prevent all those you are saying, The only reason i wrote this is that i want you to have an understanding why we cant be on that much some times, if my schedule is the same as the others or some like that, you have to realize we cant be there, but if it do get too hectic in the server, go to Teamspeak and ask any admin from csgo or you now admin csgo, or you could use & ingame to contact all admins from all of the servers in CSGO, but if thats not the case you can go here and make a ban request https://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/forms.php?do=form&fid=2

Hope this answer the question

Best options: 1. Add admins as friends so you can ask them to join 2. Jump on teamspeak and see if an admin is on that can come help 3. Get necessary evidence and put in ban requests on those violating rules.

Doing any of these things will get you noticed by leadership and if they feel you are responsible may get you promoted so you can handle things on your own.

Well whenever something happens I'm mostly there with shadowplay, same with other people. Whenever I play I usually have instant replay on so I just press one bind and I got a recording of them doing whatever it may be. You can do the same. If someone sprays stack make a ban report on them with the logs. Someone's racist, use shadowplay to record them and make a ban report. Making a ban report isn't hard.

what im mainly is saying having atleast one admin on the servers always, not saying that one admin has to stay on the server for the whole day

That in itself is still nearly impossible to have at least 1 admin on at any given time. The only real viable course of action is to make ban requests like I do (even though I have vip I can only do so much).

You can't force an admin to be on all the time... Everyone has IRL stuff to do.

Hey! Just so you know that admins are not *required* to join the server.

Just make a requests ban with evidence to get those rule breakers off from the server how said BeastTheNinja.
Don't ask to "enforce" about admins.
Like AWACS Bandog say:
"Use your head as well as your hands."

Everyone’s already stated this, but just report people that break rules. Admins have personal lives, too, and can’t be expected to monitor the server constantly.

Yeah screw school I'm going to admin jailbreak instead.

Yeah but no this isn't going to happen. I'd prefer to focus on real life topics and issues compared to...a community server. Admins have no requirement to be on servers 24/7 and it'll hopefully never be like that. If you have a problem with a player on the server, do the obvious thing and report it on the forums.

Now what I propose is either making a requirement for players to be atleast a certain level on steam
Yeah no. That requires money that not everyone has.

even with that, people can just make new accounts and be back on in a few minutes after theyre actually banned. Same thing goes for when you vote ban them.

And this can be the topic closer tbh. That right there just shows why it'd be pointless and too much of a pain in the butt to try to have at least 1 admin on at all times. Like others, even Thorium himself stated, he/they would focus on real life stuff moreso than a community server.

Oh I know, we all give up admin and out troll the trolls and toxic players and yell over the racist comments.

The prime only/steam rank has been suggested at least 5 times before and declined already.
We are not going to force admins to be on the server. If there are people breaking the rules, make a report on them or ask in shoutbox or Teamspeak if one can get on. You can also recommend people for promotion to increase the chances of there being an admin on the server.
