Bad Company 2 Server Groups in TS

Guys, how do i get added to the "Server Groups" in Teamspeak? Right now I am down as a guest.

Well, it's normal to see channel groups be guest, but server groups it's not unless you either are a pub, or haven't verified your id in maul. His case is different, his id matches in maul, and it's verified, but the bot doesn't give him the eG or Battlefield server group.

ah right, forgot there was channel groups and server groups. Haven't opened TS in a long time

Your forum /ingame name have to be the same name you use in MAUL

OK, my name was not right, weird! It took a while before I could straighten it out, had to replace my bookmark with a brand new one to make the spelling stick, weird!

Anyhow, still not in the BF server group. I took the [eGO] out of my name, didn't work. Maybe the [eGO] should be added to my MAUL name?

After you did what you saw and wroted in the above, after you corrected your name to your maul name and forum name (wich should be the same one) try then go to the bot and messeage him !verify if that wont help i can get on TS and help you out when i get home from school, i will be on at 7 PM GMT+1 and is only availbe to 9 PM GMT+1 then i can go and check everything is right, and you did everything right, the channel i will be sitting in is Member Services cozy lounge, just pm me then i will go to member services got question channel

Oops, I had thought that this pertained to a thread I started a while back! I do still have the problem though.

The TeamSpeak bot, on our server is called EdgeGamers (bot) and that one is on lobby Channel, you right click it and Press open text Then you type out !verify if it still a problem i Will get on, for im coming hold now

I hopped on after a long break and was having issues. Are you still having trouble?

For some reason this is not clear on the forums, I had Foxy walk me through it via mic. If I remember correctly:


1. Go to TS, Bookmark the server with your name (no eGO rank included, the bot will add this for you)
2. In TS go Tools>Identities>Go Advanced>Copy "Unique ID"
3. In forums on top bar click Maul>Maul Home>Edit Game IDs>Paste Unique ID to Teamspeak
4. Ping the bot in the lobby "!verify" it should say something vague, reset Teamspeak and when you rejoin it should apply "eGO" and "Battlefield" in your "server groups" area
