Hey, today i'm here to explain something to you guys, and if you can prove me wrong then i'll change my mind. So here we go, we're going to be talking about the delaying rule in jailbreak.

Change My Mind (or agree with me): He was delaying.

Delaying Rule: As a prisoner, you are rebelling if you cheat, detour or delay in any of the orders or games.

Problem: While playing TnT Run (on jb_minecraft) a prisoner was "delaying" the game by crouch walking extremely slow. When I say slow, he would stand still (while crouching), and then he would tap "w" one time as fast as he could, then he'd repeat this every second or so. So it had been about 30 seconds since the game started and we were all waiting on him. He had actually gotten about 3 knifing steps into the game when I decided to kill him. I got swapped for freekilling and was told, "he wasn't delaying".

Argument: So if you don't agree, here is my argument against you. How in the world is that not delay? If you tell me to crouch walk to a marker, and I do what the prisoner did in the game, I would most definitely be killed for delaying. It is the same exact thing. This also falls under:

1) As a T, you may look for loopholes in orders when appropriate. If you are basing your actions of these technicalities, end up being killed for them, and then begin to complain, you are in the wrong.

2) (Again) Cheat, detour or delay in any of the orders or games.

It was extremely obvious that he could (without being in more danger) go faster and that he was wasting everyone's time. Did I deserve the swap for killing him?

(sorta click-bait title. ;3)

It seems to me that people have differing opinions of detouring and delaying. The rules of jb are loose and really strongly relies on admins interpretation. Personally I would have killed him too for doing that.

There is a difference between killing someone because they are slow, and because they are crouching whilst tapping w in the game. In this case I would have to agree with you that they were delaying and therefore killable. I recommend asking them to hurry up or stop delaying before killing them though. On the other hand, if a T just happened to be slow at the game, and you were taking all winners, it would be an unjustified kill.

This about sums it up

Idk, ur example of doing it while going to a marker vs going around in TNT race is awful, just simply going to marker while crouched has no risk of dieing while even touching 1 pixel of the TNT can kill you. In my opinion you should have asked for him to hurry up and go faster instead of a straight kill

There's a simple solution to not getting swapped 90% of the times, don't be cancer and you probably won't get swapped. But if warden gives a crouch command and a T is there just constantly tapping his w intentionally just to go extra slow then kill him. But if they're in the game, just ask them to hurry up and if they don't I'd say blast them in the head.

now you got your opinions but i still followed the rule, but if it was me and the rule is a bit changeable i would not have swapped you, for its a really delay shit, but yeah follow rule is that

Hey he might be on to something.

That doesn't apply- we're talking about a direct order given by the warden and he technically did exactly as the warden asked AND wanted. There was no loopholing here, this is simply delaying.

Also that loophole rule is incredibly stupid, it basically means that if you interpret what the warden said correctly, although he had a different vision, you are rebelling. You could genuinely believe you're right, and you are, but due to that rule, you're allowed to be killed falsely because you have a larger brain than the warden.

I would have killed that T as well, and if I was swapped for it, I would quickly report it. Do not let admins abuse you.

Actually my comparison to the crouch walking to the marker is accurate. Delaying is delaying.

Definition of Delaying: be late or slow; loiter.

He could of gone faster and still have been just as safe as he was while doing that bullcrap crouch walk.

I didn't disagree with the fact that it may or may not have been delay, the comparison is what was said is bad cause one will cause death if u go fast enough while the other has no chance of death to go faster. I'll let u figure out which one is which.

Yes and no. Point is in the end, he was delaying and exploiting the loophole rule, I killed him for it, and I got swapped. I just wanted to know what others would do in that situation.
