Popular opinion and a little complaining

Ever since they reset the server, things have been going downhill with minimal improvement. 64 Slot server is a good thing, but there is still too much bad to outweigh it. This server has devolved into working at the lumber mill and occasional car shows or server events. Nobody does any actual RP besides robbing people or shooting them (which is shit). I just got arrested for doing a fun RP thing, Dragracing, on an airstrip nobody goes to or uses, and there are NEVER ANY planes being flown. Why the hell cant the cops stop being dicks and just let people have fun for once? Isn't being a cop supposed to be fun? And you aren't supposed to win every situation how you want it to? It pisses me off that you can't do anything without asking an admin first. Maybe let the citizens have a little freedom? If we're not killing people, why should the cops look at my "Dragracing at sandy airfield" tweet and instantly send 4 cops up there to arrest me?

Now don't get me wrong, most cops are really cool about things and RP out the situation, but the cop that arrested me for dragracing was the most boring monotone police officer who didn't RP anything out at all, Just said "Put your hands up" and then arrested us. Stop being so power hungry and let people have fun. This server has WAY TOO many cops on, and we let people who shouldn't be cops patrol around and arrest people for the pettiest of shit. I GOT 20 MINUTES FOR DRAGRACING because the cop was salty at me for some reason. Absolute dickhead of a cop. IDGAF if this post gets removed, I would say 90% of people agree with this post as it is.

ANOTHER THING: MY GANG SOP GOT DENIED BECAUSE "Gangs never work" WTF? How do you know it won't work? I shouldn't have to put out a long ass document to run around with my friends doing gang shit. This server has ridiculous over-moderation. and there is little to no RP outside of getting arrested, thats why I do it so often, but getting arrested for meaningless shit pisses me off, especially if there is no good side to the confrontation.

I don't think you know what I do on this server, you seem misinformed. I've done whitelisted jobs before, and legal ones. I've been a cop 2 times in the past, I was a cool police officer that didn't just arrest people because I hate them. I have a quite a reputation on this server, I'd argue one of the biggest. And I have played on here for over 7 months and I know the rules quite well. People have 2 views of me (deez nuts).

- A meaningless criminal (which is I would say 60%)
- and a cool guy who just wants to do fun shit for good RP (40%)

People have a biased opinion on me and just think I string rob people, which would be you and Osmosis. I rob one person like ever 3 days lmao. I rob stores basically never. I try to pay people to do fun shit but nobody wants to RP, they just wanna sit AFK in a green circle for 2 hours.

Aaron and I were on for hours playing as civs and had some pretty genuine interactions with a few civs and a few LEO. We weren't hard nosed criminals with gang backgrounds. Just some farmers from Grapeseed acting stupid.

The server was reset New years day, 2018. That's 16 months ago. Oh wait, you're talking about the only reset you've seen due to your "I know everything" attitude.

Im not blaming cops for a lack of creativity. I'm saying that there are too many cops on this server for them to come arrest anyone they want because they're doing something fun instead of sitting at a lumber yard for 2 hours. If I drive up to the lumber mill there would be at least 5 people there, and including other jobs like 15 people just AFK doing nothing. I rob people at the lumber yard sometimes just to get them to go do something else. I dont even take any money I just tell them to go do something besides sitting here. Its no fun for anyone. People dont want RP, the want money. and its so weird to me. I offered money to do streetracing (15k prize pool just from me) then another 5k for each racer. Nobody showed up. How lame is that?

It becomes what you make of it. I'm not a GTA player myself, but I know for a fact that RP becomes fun if you put it into a perspective. Be creative.

Just throwing this out there... if you ask nicely, the FBI will call TSA and shut down Sandy Shores for some sanctioned drag racing. (As long as people are there to have fun and not be dicks and shoot people and crash into each other for no reason)

eG is what I consider a moderator. Its not quite an admin, but they still help. I know you said that just to be right about it but still, try to pick up what im putting down. As you see, mainly eG and eGO responded. They are the only people who really look at these posts. And most disagree with my bad experience. Its unfortunate that they don't really see the problem im bringing up therefore it will never be fixed.

I'm glad you think nothing will be done. Continue your negativity and threatening to shoot police because they "ruined your fun." I've got a shocker and a spoiler - thats why people don't want to come to your activities because they recognize they will wind up dead or in jail.

I have shut down the runways of all of the airports before, sandy, grapeseed and LSIA for "authorized" drag races. Tip, if you ask the police or fbi, they are extremely willing to work with people to do rp ideas. You want to do a race somewhere, as long as there isn't a whole bunch of traffic, cool, we can help set it up. Want to hold a drag race tournament, cool, ask and we can get a runway at an airport shut down to use. Ask for permission first, just like in real life, and it is extremely likely that it will be allowed and then guess what, you wont end up in jail for it.
