Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Cool event idea (Might of already been done)

So I was wondering if there was a way we could do a eGO competitive tournament, could be just for fun, or actually have prizes. You could make a fourm post so people who wanted to participate could sign up, you could either have people form their own teams and make their own team names or randomly pick 5 people and tell them to make a team name. You would play one comp game if you lost you fight the loser of another game and the winner moves on, or you could just do losers are out, and winners move on. I think this could be fun, and a chance to meet new people in the eGO csgo community if you do the random team picker Thanks for reading my idea have a good day!

Battle of Community division?

well its not the best name though but how the event could work is that you play different games, so like if csgo division and Minecraft division was Against eachother both divisions have to compete in both games to see who is the best one

until you win over all the division that we now mostly play.

the prizes could be the competition award, or a 2 month DS, or the division competer medal idk what its called it excatly but yeah, hope this is seeing what i mean

I like beasts idea. The only thing with that is there are divisions where it costs money for the game right? If so how is that going to work. I doubt people would be willing to buy a game for an event or multiple.

Well there Are 2 choices making teams that got multilpe games and one team that got 1 game or something Else

Inter-divisional matches (Someone will shame me for continuing to call it a division but I cannot find better wording) tend to be SUPER hit and miss. We've tried it a lot - getting people from Gmod to come to TF2, TF2 to CS, etc etc.

Because CS has the most players, it generally gets a good reception and lots come out. But the other groups are hard to wrangle and convince people to play/buy the game. It tends to flop, hard.

Signed, guy who's had these events flop on him a bunch of times. Lol.

You'd be better off just having a CS match/tournament, letting people making teams, hoping everyone commits properly and going from there.

we actually did have a cs tournament it was called JB admins VS TTT Admins
