Hello Again Reader, (Date of post 5/16/19)

I made a Suggestion for a mission row extended mod to be added on 4-26-19, its been 20 days since I made that suggestion and there is a lot of information to get thru so lets get started. So first of all a message directed to Bigtram himself.

on my last post he responded to the post with...
"I mean not trying to be rud or sound mean but why put something in when police don’t even do any of the things you said in this. Y’all don’t hold criminals y’all jail them. Y’all don’t conduct interviews." ( not the full quote of what he said )

Which I agree with him there, We didn't conduct interviews and we don't hold criminals we would just jail them, Well I have taken steps to change this, I decided that I was going to do the May retraining for the LSCPD (its just something we do monthly to retraining people on things they may of forgotten)

The may retraining is covering how to properly role play jailing a subject, During the time of writing I have trained 22 officers with this training (and training more every single day, expecting to have the department trained before the 28th of this month) But what is this training, what are the officers being trained with to increase there role play?

Well, after we have the subject inside mission row, we stand him in front of the computer (the one by the cells), take his id and emote taking out a note pad (/e notepad), after taking out the notepad we would ask the subject to verify his Date of birth, and his full legal name, after these questions are answered we would follow up by noting down his charges (if not done already) and then search him up on the database for previous arrests.

After this is completed we would bring the subject upstairs to the briefing room and take his picture, and then take his prints (note we are role playing this extensively and its as detailed as we can) after this is completed we would take them back down to a cell, place him inside against the bars and ask the subject to face the back wall, (so we can uncuff him) after hes uncuffed the officer would take out his notepad again and read the subject his charges, and ask him if he understands the charges, then book him.

So that's in a LSCPD vein but what about CID, what is CID doing to make there role play a lot better, well the same thing we've been doing for awhile now with the old IAA building, We do interrogations whenever we can, when a interrogation is needed to figure out who's telling the truth and who's telling us lies (this includes talking with subjects of interest or possibly Criminal intelligent's), Personally I used it whenever I could because like I said in my last post its one of my Favorite role plays I do on the server.

But lets move on to the reason why I think that the LSCPD and the server needs this mod, lets go into the specifics. So the mod has a actual place you can take pictures, this is useful as we actually take pictures when booking subjects now.

It has a Interrogation room, this is super useful to CID and our role play, its nice to have a safe and quiet place to talk to a subject or CI or anyone of interest and ask them questions, this is a asset to CID and to people who enjoy doing interrogations to find the truth.

it also has a evidence room (so we don't store everything in our armory) this adds immersion to LSCPD RP, which is important.

but that's only a few things, the amount RP to come from this mod being added to the server cannot be underestimated I know for a fact that CID is going to have the interrogation room in use all the time, because interrogations are GREAT role plays.

having a place to actually take pictures would be great, and it would be more realistic, and with us moving toward realism and better role playing I think it would be great to have a place to take pictures/prints to increase that realism and better RP.

The last bit of what Bigtram said was "I would suggest getting started on actually doing these thing before requesting something like this"

I have taken the steps toward actually getting people to role play jailing people, and its still a work in progress. but I think we have gotten started on better role playing when jailing and it is only going to get better over time, anyway i'm going on and on but thanks for reading, and thanks to the leadership of GTA for considering this post.

Link to mod - https://www.gta5-mods.com/maps/vinewood-police-station-interior-ymap suggested by nick jardine, it adds actual desks and more cells, which would be cool.

I'd back this suggestion up. Not only would it make CID a lot better of a roleplay based unit but also it may allow lawyers to actually be used when we get 64 slots implemented (And I think when we get 64 slots, lawyers may actually be used as we'd have enough slots) but also that we can document the criminals by taking pictures and stuff of them for further down the road criminal cases?

I agree with what both Delton and Duck said, it would a nice addition for both civilians and the police. It would add more RP into the scenarios that go down and instead of talking to the suspects outside in the open, we would have them in the room.

I mean not trying to be rud or sound mean but why put something in when police don’t even do any of the things you said in this. Y’all don’t hold criminals y’all jail them. Y’all don’t conduct interviews. See you think small thinking you actually need this to RP when you don’t. I would suggest getting started on actually doing these thing before requesting something like this jeremy_duck jeremy_duck

With all due respect Tram- I don't understand your logic. They're asking for this to be implemented so they/we can actually do these different things. You're stating we don't do them now, and you're right, because there's no place to do them; Kind of hard to interrogate someone in a cell next to two of their accomplices. Equally hard to do any of these things at the PD due to people coming in to file complaints, get geared up for shift, leave shift, etc, etc. No, we don't need this to RP, but it doesn't make any sense to me why it wouldn't be made available if it helped us with creating a better experience.

If it's possible to bring this suggestion back up, I'd like to comment. Jeremy is right, we weren't RP'ing to our full potential. I did the May monthly re-training, and it really expanded my RP when booking people. Given that a lot of people are trying to really RP doing this, it's painfully clear we need a better setting to do it in.

Obviously, we're working with what we have. But it could be a lot better, and I think the PD and the civilians would come to appreciate it in the long run; especially since we're trying to lean towards a more serious RP server. This would be a big positive for everyone.

Quick note, this is the updated version of the suggestion the old one was lost Blame RDK this was made today 5/16/19
