So currently, if you pass out from dehydration/hunger, you wait the full 12 minutes after the distress signal and nobody shows up to res you, you lose EVERYTHING and respawn at the hospital.

I suggest a compromise here where if you respawn, you ONLY lose illegal possessions. In real life, if you were in need of medical attention and couldn't move, EMS would arrive, if they saw anything illegal, they would contact the police to come and investigate and your illegal possessions would be confiscated, but all of the property on you would be maintained - Cash - equipment(Tuner chips) etc.(This refers to any type of respawn, not just hunger/dehydration death)

On top of this, I think the dehydration/hunger system could use a change. Maybe if civilians are around to help, they can give the user a bottle of water or food and the person can be brought back up to their feet using that.

An alternative to this concept is that when your dehydration/food bar runs out, instead of dying, you go into a completely drunken state where you can barely see and you can't walk straight or fast at all, you wobble everywhere until you drink or eat. Too often do I accidentally forget to eat or drink. In real life I would obviously feel dehydration or starvation coming on, ingame we don't experience feelings IRL lol.

Just my thoughts.

We’re getting a lot more active ems on, and some on at off-times so it’s likely you’re ruining the EMS rp by just relogging. IMO you should be valuing your life a lot more and dying should not be as common as y’all are making it out to be.

And I don’t really like the idea of the hunger/dehydration system changes as it would take away from the EMS calls. Ya don’t eat for as long as time is equal to in game (idek how long a full bar of water or hunger lasts but) in any case you would be knocked out on the side of the road and EMS would be called in any case.

The reason not to is that it is exploiting.

It’s hardly combat logging when you’re literally the only one on the server and there’s no point in bleeding out.
That being said this wouldn’t be an issue for you as you’re Merica

I never said combat logging. I said exploiting. Exploiting is taking advantage of some flaw or bug in order to advance personal gain. The flaw here being that death and health are not saved cross session. Relogging to heal or revive yourself is exploiting.

Add medkits that can revive then
Add so you can drive a friend to the hospital when theres noone else on and revive him there.
Theres no sense of realism having to die and lose all your stuff by lets say dehydration, when theres only you and a friend in town, and youre both together. He has no way to save you UNLESS he is an admin.

That is unrealistic, completely. The flaw here being that without people ROLEPLAYING AS EMS, police, or being an admin there is no way to RP out any situation where anyone is knocked without them ending up dead.

The only problem I see with this is it will make EMS a pointless organization. But at the same time, with EMS' only purpose being to res people, I'm wondering if it would perhaps be better off merged into PD removing EMS altogether and in turn adding the ability for medkits to allow someone to res someone or bringing someone to the hospital to res them.

Merging the medics into police would more than likely never ever happen. Because that just don't make sense at all. As for medkits reviving someone, that won't happen as again, that makes no sense, but I could implement a way that you could /carry your friend to the hospital and they can get checked out and revived there.

That of course would be "disabled" if there is an active medic as taking the RP away from them is a bad move and would just create issues with them and in turn make them not want to play.

As RDK stated, it is exploiting to do this. There is no if's ands or but's about it. We are actively looking at solutions to combat the issue, but until then understand that it is not to be done.

This would be a solid solution.

After a meeting, the GTA LE team decided to go through with your suggestion. As of right now the details on how it'll work needs to be ironed out, but it will be added in the near future when we can get to it.

Thanks for the suggestion!
