Bioshock problem

I just recently bought Bioshock, everything runs just great until I exit the game. When I exit it, my brightness levels and contrast levels stay the same as he game's levels. It really bugs me. I just restart my computer and my contrast/brightness levels are back, anyone have any ideas?

that happens to me you might have to change an option in the game to use your desktop contrast
