[CoD4] Problems with saving...

I have a problem with CoD4 saving my custom weapon classes, It saves the guns, but not the names...
Also it doesn't save my name, for example when I changed it to "=(e)=t00thfAiRy", after I closed out, and went back in my name is, "The Tooth Fairy".
Please help me!

i think youre cfg folder is writting protected check if it is sounds like the sam problems i had when i wanted 2 change my name 2 ego the first time i had 2 change it

OKay, I downloaded the Call of Duty 4 Backup, by NophonX - i backed it up, how do you restore it?

delete the existing files from your game folder then goto cod4 backups folder and copy and paste your profile into the game.
