TTT Names on T Guns

I was talking to Cookie the other day, and we were talking about old rules and old glitches. The "different names on T guns" glitch came up, and we talked about how that glitch has been fixed for a very long time.

One of the rules in TTT is that you are not allowed to kill based on the name that is on the T guns (this rule was implemented after the glitch was found), but the glitch has been fixed for quite some time - so shouldn't the rule be reversed back to what it was before?

I think it would be much better if we were allowed to kill off names on m4a1-s', mp5's and usp's, since the glitch was fixed. Of course, only a suggestion, and final say is always up to higher ups. Just a suggestion.

I understand the logic behind allowing people to kill off the names on weapons and such given that the glitch was fixed. Although I personally prefer things the way they are now, I potentially see a lot of people RDM'ing players and saying they picked up a weapon with their name on it and killed them off that as an excuse.

Yeah that's the only issue I see with it - it could create a lot of RDM potential -> I'm just unsure of how it worked before hand when this rule didn't exist

Although, it is obvious who the traitor is by the name on the weapon this is not something that will be implemented as we see it will cause conflictions with the following rule:

Suspicious Behavior
You should NOT kill carelessly and without reasonable or valid evidence or justification. You ARE considered to be careful and reasonable by identifying a number of suspicious acts below that would logically indicate they are a traitor:
Being equipped with any traitor-only weapon.

This could cause confusion leading players to kill for simply having a traitor only weapon.
