What I am about to suggest entails a bit of work.

Basically, we implement an additional priority towards Police Department and EMS accounts.

As it currently stands, DS have priority over everyone else. Manually, I've recently observed that Members will get priority over non members in the server if the amount of cops online is almost 0 in a full server due to the queue.

The system I am suggesting is create a new role for PD and EMS accounts that places them in their own priority bracket. This means that a calculation is done:

Is the server full? Yes - Are there less than 10 police on? Yes - Activate Police queue Priority - Are there less than 4 police characters on? Yes - Lock out civilian character access on police accounts - (This one's optional as it's a bit sketchy) Kick non-members to allow for member access - Is the server full? Yes - Are there less than 10 police on? No - Deactivate police queue priority - Are there less than 4 Police characters on? No - Unlock civilian character access on police accounts.

Something similar could be done to allow 2-4 EMS on duty during a full server.

The two ideas benefiting from this calculation is that We ensure the server has the 1/3 ratio of police characters on duty vs non PD per the goal of the department AS WELL AS an automatic system to force officers playing civ onto their police characters if there are less than 4 police characters on duty at any given time.

I know this may be a bit complicated, but I think it will ultimately be worth it in the long run to ensure the server maintains a balance. It has become a larger and larger issue over the last week with the queue size and length for officers to get on duty to balance out the server.

While it's a good thing that we are gaining so much popularity, we need to retain a balance in the server to ensure good and fair role-play.

The problem is that between 4 and 10 cops, players with cop characters will have priority but will no longer be forced to get on. And what if a cop wanted to get on as a civ to do some legal jobs, or another whitelisted job like mechanic or security, but didnt have an option to forgo queue priority and was instead forced to go on as cop. What if they just sit on the character screen until 4 cops are active and then they go on as civ?

These are just issues I can see with its implementation. I dont agree with cops/ems getting queue priority but none of the other whitelisted jobs do, but I'm not going into that rant.

This explains it a little better than I could^

Can we just get the ability to switch characters without leaving the server or game? For some of us to switch over, the game crashes upon reentering the server. Making the process longer and losing our spots

This would also be beneficial

Fivem is super spaghetti, and you generally need to fully close out the game and relaunch it when reconnecting or it will crash.

If there is only 1 or 2 cops on the server, it just means its time for batman to step it up

We used to have a switch characters command, unfortunately FiveM is pretty yikes so the command was insanely glitchy and ended up kinda breaking your game, making you restart anyways.

There are some concerns with this. For starters people can view this as "unfair" (for lack of better term) as only LEO's are able to join the server before others. It's also arguable that LEO's are required more then other whitelisted jobs in the server. However, I understand where your coming from. Less LEO's are a hinderance to RP but, this encourages people to to other activitys other then the same old crime RP. All you gotta do is just be a tad bit creative :). Thats just my spin on things.

It's not FiveM that causes this; it's ESX.
