MC Semi-permanent chat colour change

Having a ds command to change the colour of the chats you send out. like how CS:GO has a colour chat option menu.

If this gets implemented please don't allow for DS's to have the bold option(Italics and strikethrough is cool though), theres a few servers that do so and it just spams the chat during a converstaion

I agree, just a colour change would be enough.

The current issue circulating our Team is that if DS were to color their chat, it would turn chat into more of "rainbow vomit" than it already is. As a result, players, especially admins, would be less inclined to look at chat (or turn it off entirely) as it might become an eyesore.

How do you respond?

that's understandable, you guys want the server chat to be as clean as possible. thanks for looking into it though.

Unfortunately, this feature was not voted favorably by the Team. We may approach this in the future, but at this time, it will not be implemented.
