Our community has been running strong for nearly 14 years. As our mission statement states, this clan’s foundation rests on honor, loyalty, and integrity. There is a heavy emphasis on maturity, fair play and helping others while having a fun, competitive gaming experience that all can enjoy. A simple motto that has stayed strong since the creation of our community can sum these values easily. Punk Free Gaming Since 2006. It is important to never lose the vision laid out by our communities founding staff and to continue to carry out the mission to provide a safe punk free environment.
Often, individuals come around that challenge our communities foundation. In the interest of our mission, vision and values these individuals are typically dealt with swiftly. However, it does not slow down their quest to try and challenge our views and take away what our community believes in. Their tactics in attacking the community, it's leaders and it's members are unfortunate yet expected. There will always be an upset or jealous person who tries to do something to attempt to ruin what we are out to accomplish.
While it is unfortunate that our leaders, admins and members must deal with punks, we will continue to deal with their disgusting actions swiftly with no regret. Creating or facilitating drama or attacking leaders and members will not be tolerated. With this, the association with these individuals or any efforts that may be recognized as providing them assistance or aid will also result in swift punishment. It is the Community Management and Leadership team's responsibility to keep our community safe. No one is here to deal with drama. We are a gaming community developed and maintained by volunteers. Not a single person in this community is on any payroll to professionally deal with idiocy as a primary or secondary job. The people who are responsible for dealing with punks and drama take time out of their own schedule and lives often away from family and friends. More significantly, they take their time away from their gaming and relaxation to deal with this. Their time should not be spent like this and it is for that reason that swift action is a must.
Dealing with punks or drama reinforces the fact that what we are doing here is right. EdgeGamers will continue to remove anyone who creates, facilitates or associates with drama. Whether their intentions are out of jealousy, disappointment or disgust, it is simply irrelevant. EdgeGamers will continue to go on for many years ahead and those punks will continue to fail to accomplish anything they set out to do. No bump in the road will ever be big enough to stop us from moving forward.
