So this morning I woke up to a really bad news that Reckful had committed suicide at 31 years old. He was the first streamer I watch when I first heard of twitch, and tbh to see how successful he was I would have never thought he could do something like this. Having seen with my own eyes what depression can do, I can't stress enough the importance to check on others, family members or friends but not only that, you should also check on yourself. If you are feeling depressed for what ever reason never hesitate to talk to your family or someone close to you. There is always someone that care about you and as a community we are here to help each other's when we are going through tuff times. I want to share that my dad tried to kill himself twice this year in a week because everything was going so bad, but we were here for him and since he got in touch with a professional and us to support him through that. he is now doing much better and he is going forward in life.
To warp this up please don't hesitate to talk to me or any other members of this beautiful community if you are feeling down.

Thank You for caring VANE and am sorry for what your dad and your whole family went through .

Years back I had a nervous breakdown , was working 12hr shifts , 6 to 7 days a week and switching from day to night shifts every week , it was really hot in the plant back then ( up to 145 Degrees ) with poor air makeup and it really took it's toll on me , for the 1st 12 years or so that I started my new job I was there literally every day . I ended up taking a whole year off work , had Migraines 24/7 with no relief in site for at least 7 months and had vertigo during that time off . Ended up finding a specialist that would give me injections to freeze my head so I could get relief , and eventually the Migraines subsided enough for me to function in a limited capacity . When I went back to work I still had migraines and vertigo and was really weak , had no muscles left from inactivity and it took me at least 2 years to get back to normal . At a lot of points during that time I really wondered if life was worth it , and it really was , thanks to my 2 sons . We are in close contact all the time and it makes life worthwhile .

Yeah i heard about this around 2 hours after his last tweet... it devastating to be sure :(

It was difficult for me to say because i was nervous and its not easy to say but i already told it to some amazing friend i have in this community who've been helping me everyday but on jun 11th i came clean to them and i feel like its time to say it to the rest of you guys... "I have been battling with depression since March when this whole covid 19 started happening. Just thinking of losing my job/ not working a lot and just spending 100’s of hours just gaming per week, just made me super depressed. Today I woke up, knowing it be the same as always, so I logged onto TTT to keep my mind off things, when all of a sudden I just broke down crying for no apparent reason, which I knew I needed to come clean and tell you guys. I haven’t been eating healthy, only been eating dinner for the past week now, making me lose quite a bit of weight unhealthy. You may think me doing these giveaways/ buying random shit means I can’t manage my money, which is not true, I do these things to make you and everyone happy and maybe brighten a few of your guys days, which if it does will make me happy knowing I can at least make someone’s else’s day better. To conclude with, thank you guys for keeping me company, and just talking with me and being a great friend, it really helps a lot and thanks for everything guys." I am still stressed everyday and have panic attacks but my friends are there for me, and i never have thoughs of suicide as everyday i know it will be better and my friends and playing on this community helps me be motivated and happier. Yes it will be a tough battle but i know ill live with it the rest of my life, i just gotta adjust to it

Thats my story

Whenever I hear about these stories, It just makes me, not just sad, but idle. Depression has become such a part of society that I don't know what to think of it anymore. Nobody with depression should get "special treatment" because that treatment shouldn't be special. Everyone deserves to be treated kindly and decently and too often we see the exact opposite of that, and with people that feel that they have no options, they make their last choice in life. Nobody should ever have to feel that way. Right now more than ever is when people need to focus on not just their physical but their mental health, and those of others too. You never can "guess" who needs help, you should be offering it no matter what. If you feel like you've lost hope, just remember that their is always someone there for you, especially in this community. Don't feel afraid to ask anyone that you know, because from what I've seen here, a person refusing to help is an impossible sight. You're not alone, always remember that.

hey y’all just wanted to let you all know you’re all so strong and if anyone needs anyone to talk to I’m always here. you’re not alone <3 i love y’all. not going to go into too much detail into my personal life and what I’ve dealt with because i’m simply not comfortable with it but it’s been a hard struggle. started in fourth grade , started getting bad in sixth grade and honestly never really left that place. I’m trying though and I’m working on it. i have amazing people by my side. i love y’all !
