of the 3 finalists, Argentan is the least Axis-friendly, so that would be my choice... but of the other two, Flash if more fun.

Here is my take on the new server.

I was lucky when I started playing DoD. I found the eGO server right off and nerver left. As a result, I have missed the chance to play any other maps. As far as I have been concerened there is only Ava and sometimes there is Donner, lol.
So, at the urging of JohnT, I went exploring this morning. My playing experience made me miss home and I hope that I never have to do that again.

First stop was Argen. I found a populated server at Cantalope Island. I will never as long as I live visit that server again. There was 1 admin. I am playing German sniper (as usual). This guy is constantly berating and cursing everyone. Example: "Jonny Zero, what the #$%# are you doing? Move the #$%@ up. Stop #$%$%^ camping". ME: um, I'm a sniper, thats kinda my job, I don't really cap flags. and I am doing pretty good, 15 kills and 3 deaths". Admin: "Of course you are not dying, I spec'd you and all you are doing is laying prone".
A few minutes later, after a death I am running back to the fight, as I pass second. Admin: Jonny Zero, I told you to stop $%^#*&% camping flags, move the $%^& up. Me: I hold my tounge as I am sporting our tag. I leave the server.

Second stop: Flash at sr8thugging: Pretty cool map in a way. I owned as a sniper on this map. Looks like it could be fun. Server was horrible. Nothing but constant spam about donating. It never ended. I saw alot of recruit messages for [Q] Clan. Are these the same QQ guys I complained about a while back?

My last stop. Kalt at 9th Rangers. I really liked this map. the snow was cool, awesome tunnels and lots of places to hide. I had to play Allied sniper on this one as all the 9th were Axis. This map is really big and my favorite of the three. The server itself sucked. another server with nothing but donation spam.

all in all, I would be happy with anyone of them as long as it was full of (e), (eG) and (eGO). As the saying goes, "there is no place like home".

sounds like fun! the only maps i have ever played are donner and ava, and like a round of argentan

If I remember, I voted for Anzio. Anzio is hard, but because it has MANY ways to get around the map and MANY spots to hide with a knife, I like it. It's just more open than other maps. I mean, I LOVE Donner, but it only has 3 ways to get across the map, and two of them are very narrow. I hope Anzio wins the vote!

I'm sorry to all you people who are all about flash, but I just see no way 32 players can go through the same tiny zone. mg's and nades will dominate, and I'm pretty sure the only people who will get good scores are campers. Go kalt or arg!

RANDOM ORANGE MAPS, you cant go wrong with them there is something for everyone, maybe its not textured but they are very fun
