Hey guys, so what do you all think about the awp?
(Please do not bring up the AWP restriction).

I love it, its my favourite gun, and has been for a very long time. I've been called a noob, a hacker, a member of the mYGOT community, and everything in between loads of times with it. I have been banned from numerous deathmatch servers, as well as dust 2 servers.

I LOVE THE THING

There are usually 2 boats with the awp. Some people don't mind it, and might even use it. Then you have the AWP Radicals, who think it is the worst/cheapest gun in the game, and that everyone should use the scout to show how much "skill" is involved.
Personally, I never understood the whole "No Skill" thing for the awp. If it really doesn't take skill, then why are they not killing me with it?

Anyways.... what do you guys think?

Everyone calls you a [SENSOR] if you use it, and they never use it. Personally, I do not really care about it. The only thing I hate about it is in Dust2, when you camp T and just snipe down mid with the auto snipers. Other than that, you are right.

Personally, I actually LIKE the scout more, even when I have the option of the AWP. It lets you train more to aim for headshots, and, you run ALOT faster w/ it.

Awp is a gun, It balances out the game, The game without an AWP is much different.
I use awp, I'm good at it, and I don't get any more mad getting killed by it then an M4.

My take on the AWP is that it is part of the game and should be allowed. The makers of the game put it in the game and made it the way it is. Personally I don't use the AWP but I still think it's legit.

People who need to say use a scout be a man usually don't have enough money to buy an awp >.>
plus if your getting headshots with a awp how much more different would it be if it was a scout

People dramatically decrease their head shot count while using the AWP. FACT 1!
Dutch, a.k.a. "The Legend" disproves everything you guys have stated about the scout. FACT 2!!!!
AWP is terrible for pubs. FACT 3!

It is a cheap gun...but, that was one of the only guns i used for a while when i first started playing... I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!!!

Incorrect.
A shot that isnt above the waist will only do around 83 damage.
IMO I love the AWP. At first I hated it, but now I love it. <333

I skinned my awp so the sound is basicly a .50cal breata(COD4) bullet echoing in the distance aka an anti-tank missle covered in gasoline and antrax

I love the awp as well.and i dont think it kills pubs.if someone wanted to try for cal they have to learn how to
use the awp.and you can restirct to only two ppl on each team to have an awp.now concedering awpers mid
smoke mid if you dont want to be killed by the awp.I smoke mid all the time even with out the awp on our server so T dont know how many of us goes B..

I love the AWP as well, but when you want to see a full server, it costs more than its worth.

If we all suffer a little, the majority benefits...

I think the AWP is a gun that DOES require skill to use on a higher level. However, "noob... crouch while awping" (bballer21). Many "noob" AWP users also do not quick scope and are incapable of AWPing at close range.

And as my last point I would like to say; If AWPs were allowed, the ONLY AWP user who does it correctly is V, so to all of you who want the AWP back in the servers,
"You probably don't even know how."

P.S.: I'm sorry if this is off-topic, but I feel passionately about this issue and felt this needed to be said.

Awp is a gun Thats requires skill like any Gun in CSS,
I can easily counter a Awper from far range with 1 Ak Bullet.
