Logitech mouse

Hey guys, i've been thinking of buying the G15 and G9 from Logitech, but I can't figure out if the G9 is better than the G5. Any thoughts?

I purchased the G9 for my brother, I can say it is an amazing mouse compared to my old MX518. I would recommend it, the G5 is an older mouse but I've heard good things about it, I would try google for comparison reviews.

i personally love the G5, i am using one right now... and ive never used the G9 but i would go with the G5 lol

but since you are wondering which one is better ill put it into perspective

G5 - 2000 DPI or G9 - 3200 DPI = G9 wins
G5 - 7 buttons or G9 - 5 buttons = G5 wins
G5 - up to 36g of weights added or G9 - 28 grams = (if you like heavy mouses) G5 wins

i dont know i guess it depends on what you want. both are extremely good mice, so depends on what you like

at that level, 2000dpi v 3200dpi, is there really a noticable difference in precision? Granted i'm still using an Mx1000 and it still handles fine given the mileage on it over the last 3 years.

There is a huge percision difference in 2000 and 3200. Set the mouse to 3200 and lower the sensitivity in game by a ton, and you will really get to see what a good mouse will do for you. As for the button things, I used to use a 7 button mouse, and I didn't really have much of a use for the other 2. It's not that big of a deal. As long as I have 5, I am happy =)
