Hey guys smiths11 here (currently waiting for a moderator to change that name). I used to be part of the now no longer existent Day of Defeat: Source part of this community, so hello to any familiar faces. I may be interested on joining the Overwatch section of EdgeGamers, but I have a few questions first. So first and foremost would I be wearing tags, to clarify we used to wear tags before our names in DoD:S, mine would have been eGO smiths11 or something along those lines. Also do you have servers or do people just que for qp comp etc. Here's another are you still using teamspeak? That's all I can think of atm, if I come up with anymore I'll let ya'll know. So hello there everyone and hopefully I will see you guys in game!

The Overwatch Community lives mostly on discord. We do daily LFGs and are on the road to having daily events. We do not have dedicated servers because overwatch doesn't support them, it would be super cool if they did though. Who knows, maybe OW2 will! As for tags in the name those don't exist since we are just on discord. There are pingable tags that you can add to your account such as tank, lfg NA, events, etc. as well as rank tags but they do not show up in the name, just the profile.

Hey Smiths I am glad you're interested in joining our Overwatch community! CelDamage explained a lot already but I will just comment on a few other things.

We do have TeamSpeak channels in the EdgeGamers TeamSpeak however our main hub is Discord. It's where we communicate our events and how people find others to queue with. We have a lot of specific roles you can choose from that will display on your profile such as your SR, what roles you play, and more as well as roles you can select to get certain notifications.

You do still have your e-tag and it looks like you are actually already in Overwatch. Welcome we're happy to have you here!
