Only thinking about it from the criminal perspective is toxic and I don't see anyone in here advocating for the cops so correct me if I'm wrong about any of this.
You have to realize that the police in the city would love to have fun, too. They're not bots. They have the same feelings as all of us and would really like to enjoy not being called to each and every single bank in the entire city all at once when there are hardly any cops on.
If you put yourselves in their shoes where they have to deal with all of the dumb things we do every single day along with the kids that come into the server just to mess around and cause chaos, you'd love a little bit of a break as well with something you CAN control. The banks. You'd also like it if not each and every single bank got hit at the exact same time. Why? Because that's toxic. That ruins the fun for cops.
It sucks that your plan for a bank robbery gets foiled for a few hours and you can't get your dirty money, but it also really sucks for the officers of the city who just want to see good RP scenes instead of "You know the deal, no spike strips, no air1,etc.," at almost every single bank robbery that they even get to show up at.
As for criminal brain... yeah scripts being turned off suck, but we could do better and give constructive criticism and offer alternatives because LE shouldn't be expected to come up with solutions for everything and they want to hear what we think and what we have to say about things added to the city, removed from the city, etc,.
I want to edit to clarify things: The FiveM server should be fun. It should be filled with good RP. I'm an advocate for the Criminal side getting more things to do since we're all bored as hell and the only exciting thing for a lot of lower tiered criminals is Bank Robbery after Bank Robbery, but this is creating a low standard for the roleplay involved. Every time I hear someone say "Man I thought of all this really good Bank Robbery ideas where we can give good RP" it's just bare minimum roleplay. No disrespect to you, no disrespect to anyone else who may have pretty standard robberies. It's not hard to get bank cards, anyone can get them, and it really shows. Robberies, Heists, and Muggings should give the criminal good RP AND the police who respond. We forget that when we're out there doing the act because we don't want to get caught. Contrary to popular belief, you can still give amazing roleplay, not get caught, and give the police great roleplay as well. Not only do I AGREE the script should be turned off for certain things, I believe there should be a cooldown. There's no reason the police have to deal with the lowlife criminals AND get bank calls at the same time all day every day all the time. They're stretched thin and because of the roleplay we give out, they don't even really want to go to these calls because it's the same generic thing every time! It's selfish to demand that things get turned back on and overload an entire group of people just because you want some money. Giving the bare minimum rp is causing people who give fantastic roleplay and really well thought out roleplay to be overlooked because the cops are way too busy with some idiot on the road just shooting around like mad or a group of people that want to start beef with the cops because they are mad they got caught doing stupid stuff. I have waited and waited and waited to actually get a scene started because they were far too busy more times than I can count. We need to start actually giving good roleplay because when cops are just exposed to lowlife after lowlife crappy RP, they treat everyone else like they do them. It's not fair for everyone. So I'm sorry the bank script gets turned off every now and then... but we need to take a deeper reflection on what we can do to make this a better place and give better RP so it never had to get to the point where the police are so overloaded. Time to reflect and take responsibility, everyone.
